Rude! has the GOD COMPLEX. Disrespectful. Doesn't listen to his patients just hears them. Knew I complained about the way he spoke to me , only then did he apologized for his behavior.

Was taken to South Nassau Hospital by ambulance for a heart issue. Had no choice in picking an emergency room doctor, he was assigned. The hospital told me they took my insurance. Turns out NONE of the doctors are in network. Every other doctor accepted the insurance settlement but this one. He charged me over $100 dollars more than what the insurance paid and refused to settle. Turned it over to a collection agency. He spent all of 5 minutes treating me before I was admitted. I wouldn't reccomend him for anything. I could understand if I chose him regardless of whether he accepted my insurance, but if the hospital says they take your insurance then he should accept the settlement, just like the other 6 doctors did. My advice is to not accept care from this man. Demand another provider.

Nathan Washburn, though educated in osteopathic medicine, is no doctor. His bedside manner and overall attitude is horrible. He speaks to patience in a terse manner, as if it's a bother to treat them. I would seriously consider searching for another doctor before letting this man administer any kind of treatment
