Very disappointed. I've heard nothing but good things about Dr Stewart at the Chippewa Valley Orthopedic, so I went to see him for my hip replacement and he won't to do it until I got off of some of my medicines prescribed by my family doctor of 25 years. I’ve had 2 hip surgeries preformed by Dr. Stewart. The first was a reconstruction the second a replacement. I wouldn’t go to any other doctor for orthopedic needs. I wouldn’t have surgery anywhere except Oakleaf Surgical Hospital.

I am 51 years old and Dr. Stewart did a double hip replacement and he was wonderful!! He told me everything that I needed to know and how to recover. I checked around and he is most certified doctor in the world. I would recommend him to anyone!! He is the best!

I had double hip replacements and he did an excellent job before and after surgery. He is a top notch doctor!! I only would do this surgery with the best surgeon and that is why I chose him.

Basically told me that women who have children shouldn't run anymore and he told me outright that my body would be shot after 40 so it didn't matter after that.

I had a right hip impingement surgery 5 years ago with Dr. Stewart. My experience was first class and Dr. Stewart was exceptional. The facility is amazing and the staff was very personable. I would like to say after being referred to seeing Dr. Stewart for a prob with my right hip for over the past 6yrs. Had my first visit back in Aug 2017 with him he is the most worst Dr. I have ever had to deal with in person blew me off said there was nothing wrong said if i was in sports he would send me back in with tylonal mind you i am 23 and have been pulled from sports yrs ago. So i took a 2nd opinion with a Dr. In Marshfiled WI (Dr. Jagalyn-Orthopedic) who told me i had hip dysplasia in the end resault 3hr surgery 3 screws 4 days in hospital he has fixed the prob. Dr. Stewart couldnt had cared less to help me or look at the bigger picture completly an a**hole about how i felt. I DO NOT CARE FOR THIS DR. NOR DO I EVER RECOMAND HIM TO ANYONE!!! It has been a month since my total hip replacement. My experience with Dr Stewart and his team has been exemplary. From the initial visit, to surgery and then post-op, the they work like a well oiled machine. Best of all, the new hip works great.

My experience with Dr. Stewart has been awesome. He spends the time with you before and after the surgery and answers all your questions/concerns. The surgery went great and wish I would have had my hip resurfaced years ago.

Painted a very grim picture for my condition. Didn't seem like he wanted to get more involved. Generalized my symptoms and condition. I eventually got a second opinion.
