This is a great doctor! My pregnancy went well due to his care! I highly recommend him!

OK. Everyone has a different experience so I will tell each of you mine. The first visit with this is place was as quick as lightening for I did not speak with the doctor 3 minutes before I told him what I wanted. He VERY quickly told me yes and had the nurse write it up and ran out the room and went into the next room, yet I was charged about $200- ok with this being the first visit, I can deal with that. When I looked at my claims in my insurance account, I ahd seen that they charged me for a urine sample....I had not done a urine sample. Please do not confuse me with another patient. I just had asked for an order so that I may go out to have a procedure done. I fought the claim for a minute...then they decided to remove it. When this happened, this should have been my red flag to no longer dool with this place of business..in addition to when I read this place of business results. Good OB/GYN offices are hard to find- in my opinion. The lady in the front was VERY rude and unprofessional- I'm just surprised that these people remain open. I had the procedure done. When I had gone to retrieve my results from this office, I didn't want to talk about it at that time, but I had NO idea that this meant because I didn't want to talk about the results then and there, that they would "release me as a patient"-whatever this means. I had NO warning or explanation that if I chose to not talk about my results, I would get released as a patient which is TOTALLY FINE because I'd rather find a different OB/GYN office to work with. I mean I had to explain that I needed another order to get another procedure in reference to the first one to the nurse NUMEROUS times so that meade me REALLY wonder. Everything happens for a reason and I feel as though this happened this way for a GOOD reason. I chose to not argue, I just choose to move on and find better. The nurse told me one thing, but when the nurse transferred me over to the front desk, the front desk lady told me completely differently so somewhere in the air the info changed and the front desk lady told me differently than what the nurse had just told me THAT FAST!...another red flag. Usually, it only takes one red flag for me- not multiple. I am more than HAPPY to find a different OB/GYN to service my needs. In my opinion, this office is horrible and is NOT for me. Seriously, things do not need- have to be this difficult people. Sometimes when I read other people's reviews, I just wonder if they really went through what they say they went through because sometimes people's stories sound incredible- well having read this story adds to it. However, I got lost in the building and called to confirm suite # at 4:09 when I was only able to find suite 860 not 870 only to be told that the dr left at 4pm although my appointment was at 4pm. I had previously posted a review regarding the girls in the front and their horrible attitude. In the end I decided to move to another doctor at Texas Childrens and am so glad I did. First and foremost, please be aware of the charges that they are charging you. I was continuously being asked to pay out of pocket until I called my insurance and asked why nothing was going towards my deductible. Come to find out they informed me that I should not have been paying anything out of pocket because everything was covered by my insurance. Every time I asked the girls in the front about the payments and how I had insurance they always said that an amount was due and that it was not fully covered. I paid $800 or so out of pocket until my insurance spoke to this doctor's office and told them they had to refund me my money! I highly doubt anyone would have told me I had overpaid and even then I was being asked to pay more money towards the doctor's delivery charge, until I decided it was better for me to just leave to another doctor. Also, when transferring all my paperwork from this doctor's office, they made it pretty difficult to send my stuff over. I had to go back and forth to this office by calling or showing up. Anyways, I paid for a copy of my transfer papers and come to find out there was information on my paperwork that was completely incorrect - they had that I was unemployed, lived in an apartment and had no pets (I was never asked these questions and these answers were totally wrong, in fact they are the complete opposite). Also, when I went to my new doctor she went over all the transfer paper work with me and she started asking me if I was on some pills and that I had been diagnosed with something at Brookhollow's doctors office, when she started describing it, I told her it was incorrect. I was never told I had that diagnosis and am not on the pills she named. The doctor told me I understand when small mistakes are made but this one is a pretty big one and she couldn't believe how much information was incorrect on my file. Later on she was telling me that she doesn't believe much of the information that was transferred since it seems that a lot of it was wrong. So she is redoing some tests and some tests that should have been done at Brookhollow weren't. Again, please be aware. I had an infection previously diagnosed and when this clinic ran a test to see if I had this same infection one of my nurses said it was gone. Another nurse came in the room and said the infection was still there. Some people need to do this in their off days or worse leave work to come here . So much to say about this practice. It’s very poorly managed. Every visit, was a wait time of 2.5-3.5 hours. The staff was nice but poorly managed. I started going to this clinic since I had a positive pregnancy test, I was roughy 5 wks. Every time I went in for an OB appointment, I would always get asked what was my reason for the appointment. Mind you, these would be appointments that would be scheduled before leaving my previous appointments. When called to the back for vitals, I was always asked for my urine sample and my urine sample had been sitting there since after I checked in and I would still get asked at the nurses station my reason if visit. One time when the US tech came in to do my US, she didn’t even know I had been there before and they had my file that clearly shows I was a patient of theirs.
