Amazing Dentist and staff!

I feel fully confident every time I go to this office, the entire staff is excellent and very compassionate . As a retired registered nurse , I am always almost happy to visit the office , and the fact that I hate dentists offices speaks volumes as to the level of competence of his entire office.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. McGarity for the past five years. The doctor and all of his staff have been friendly, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and just plain old nice. It is like family when you go there. We would not recommend any other dentist in Landrum.......or in Spartanburg......or in Polk County, too!!!

I have been going to Dr McGarity for one year. He is experienced, fair and gives your options for any findings. Today I went to him with a molar I was having pain. Last year I had another dentist make a replacement crown for a 40 year old crown that broke. The problem that Dr McGarity diagnosed was that the crown was off centered (there’s a lot of discussion that could be made here) and nerves were being aggravated because the upper and lower teeth were not matching up. He indicated that it was not the previous dentist’s fault but just something that happens. He came to this decision after X-rays. He made an adjustment to the crown and tonight I am eating without paint and without spending thousands for the next step which would have been extraction or implants. I love that he gives you expert advice and options.

My daughter had experienced what I can only describe as a nightmare. She suffered PSD. The dentist at Carolina Foothills and his staff changed everything for her. I did not see it possible. But they took time to explain every detail before each action they took. They gave her that moment she needed when she needed to just breath and know that it would be OK. And most important, they cared. They ask and listened. They were as gentle as possible. Now its been a year since our last visit and she is reminding me that I need to make an appointment for her.
