I see Dr Nguyen at the wound center for a wound due to a fall. He is very nice and has a great sense of humor. I see him once a week and with it being February 27th I told him I didn’t want to see him anymore this month, and he laughed and said fine I don’t want to see you no more this month either. He’s great! I just found out he is a family medicine doctor as well and called his office wanting my husband and I to become new patients there and for him to be our family doctor but unfortunately his office doesn’t take our insurance. That really upsets me because again he is a very great guy and an awesome doctor

I attempted to get an appointment at this office nearly a year ago. After filling out all the paperwork and giving it to the front desk I was told that my SECONDARY insurance (Tri-Care Prime) did not deal with them. I said well you accept my Primary so what is the problem? Didn't really get a coherent response but they said the issue would be cleared up in a few weeks and they will call. Couple of months later I call them and still has not been cleared, couple more months pass and I again call and they say oh yes they are again on Tri Care approved list. I will have to do the paperwork all over again because my original has been misplaced. I again fill out the paperwork and make an appointment with Dr Lin, as I'm only able to appointments on Monday, my day off and Dr Nguyen works elsewhere on Mondays. So they schedule me on a Wednesday, and I just happen by chance be able to make it. The appointment was with Dr Nguyen, even though I requested to see Dr Lin. This was to be a first visit/annual check-up. Dr Nguyen was very pleasant, listened to my heart and lungs and gave me a referral to see a specialist. He wanted a follow up in two months. I went to make the appointment and said I need it for a Monday, and I was told that Dr Nguyen is not available on Mondays, so I said well Dr Lin then, where I was told "Well... You've already seen Dr Nguyen". Couldn't believe it. So they scheduled me for a Thursday in June, I told them I couldn't make it on a Thursday but that didn't seem to matter. Today they call to remind me of my appointment tomorrow, I said I can't make it and they simply said okay we'll cancel it. NEVER mentioned a re-schedule or anything. I wonder if the doctors there know that they just lost a patient due to the front desk's incompetence ?
