Nicholas Anthony Grande

I've been going to Grande for something like two years now. I don't think I'd trust anyone else with my spine or joints. He always explains everything he is doing and why. My issues are mostly soreness and stiffness in my neck and lower back (your basic aging) and when I leave I am feeling better and have a spring in my step. If you're having issues with your back or joints definitely make an appointment with Grande.

Grande Family Chiropractic is awesome. My back and hips had been hurting for years. I diagnosed my problem using the internet and found YouTube “Drs” that recommended specific stretches and exercises. It was never very effective. Friends recommended Dr Grande. I wasn’t fully convinced he could help because nothing I had tried had helped. I was 100% wrong. The pain was exponentially better after each visit. In such a short time (5 weeks) I wake up without stiffness and remain pain free throughout the day. My lessons learned - Don’t self diagnose and don’t hesitate to start taking care of yourself.

In March of 2021 I was injured at work with what I describe as a brain injury. I had two exposures to Carbon monoxide that had me feeling really bad for a day or two. Once I physically felt better, I could tell something just was not right with my head. I had a extreme difficulty focusing on things, simple problem solving, math, memory and other symptoms. I was referred to Doctor Grande by my neurologist to start therapy. When I met with Doctor Grande for the first time, the only words I could use to describe my symptoms were “I felt dumb”. Doctor Grande was very personal and friendly to deal with. He was very knowledgeable about my brain injury and took the time to explain things to me in a manner that I could understand. After several tests, Doctor Grande set me up with in office therapy and daily at home therapy that was best suited for my injury. I struggled with the therapy at first, but Doctor Grande assured me that it was normal and these therapy exercises would improve the issues I was having. Doctor Grandes friendly and personal encouragement pushed me to work hard and complete my therapy sessions daily. Over the course of several months, I could really see and feel the improvement in my neurological issues. Doctor Grande didn’t seem like a doctor to me at all, the way he talked to me and treated me felt like he was just “a very knowledgeable friend, who’s only concern was to see me get better”. I felt comfortable visiting his office, his staff is extremely friendly and they were very flexible making my multiple appointments. I know the business says Grande Family Chiropractic, but Doctor Grande is so much more!!!! It seemed that Doctor Grande knew more about all my neurological issues then the neurologist. My treatment with Doctor Grande started in June of 2021 and I was cleared to return to work March of 2022. My experience with Dr. Grande and his staff was amazing. I came in with a severe concussion for a car accident! Dr Grande provided me with exercises that help me with memory loss, Balnace etc… My memory has improved tremendously! I highly recommend Dr. Grande’s office for your chiropractic needs!

My spine was fused and the pain can be very nagging. Since visiting DR Grande for several months I have improved a lot. Dr Grande spends a lot of time trying to taylor treatments to my needs. So after the first few weeks I am exercising again, playing pool again and sleeping better. I would highly recommend giving his office a try for at least a few sessions (I felt much better by my third treatment) and now go monthly. It was a very calming experience to have the services of Dr. Nicholas Grande treating my son and I, after we got the worst of a rear end auto collision in my SUV. I was treated by Dr. Grande for a severe traumatic brain injury and severe whiplash. Before my treatment I was walking around in a mental fog with head pain and balance problems. Some of my other symptoms were, sleep deprivation, head aches, constant pressure in my head. I also suffered with neck pain, shoulder pain, and lower back pain. Under Doctor Grande's high level of medical treatment and professional Chiropractic care, my condition started to improve gradually and then more rapidly as the days, weeks and eventual months went by. Dr. Grande's office staff were always highly professional during my treatments. They also showed genuine concern for me as I went through their revolutionized concussion therapy treatments. They use some of the most advanced technology to treat patients with traumatic concussion injuries similar to the one I had. In addition, the Virtual therapy treatments with Mico Joy Ligon were fantastic. Mico kept me on top of all of my prescribed treatment requirements. I was involved in an automobile accident that left me with PTSD like symptoms and a concussion. From the moment I arrived to Dr. Grande’s office , him and his wife Karen were more than compassionate and understanding. They used state of the art treatment interventions that were able to combat what I was dealing with at the time. I had never even heard of the idea of a chiropractor treating possible PTSD patients, but Dr Grande most certainly can!! I was in a car accident in May and my attorney sent me to Dr. G for physical therapy. I am so glad that he sent me to Dr. G because not only did he help with my soreness and stiffness he was able to help me with my concussion that I received from the car accident. Dr. Grande has been helping me with a shoulder injury and lower back pain. Since I started coming to his office for chiropractic treatment and adjustments my pain levels have decreased significantly. My shoulder movement is getting so much better. My lower back is getting better. My main concern was the shoulder. I wasn’t able to reach up but now I can. I just moved to the area and was fortunate enough to be referred to Grande Family Chiropractic. I received excellent care and got great results. I would recommend them to anyone in pain. They are caring, thorough and very knowledgable.

My experience was wonderful. I’m an RN so when I went there did my evaluation and started the therapy, I immediately thought this is not going to work and shared with Dr Grande how skeptical I was. I went there for a severe concussion which I found out thru the Dr was probably why I had the headaches, pain in my leg and balance problems. He taught me how a concussion can affect all these points. As time went on I didn’t even notice my headaches were gone and my balance was much improved. First time I’ve been consistently pain free without the use of pain medication since 2008. Friendly staff and Dr. Grande is awesome. This has become part of my routine. I definitely recommend to anyone who has chronic pain, or even if you just want some maintenance done.

I hope you find this review helpful as this is my first time reviewing anything. However, I feel it is important to share my experience, so here goes. If you were to ask my opinion of chiropractors prior to August 2020, my response would have been “they are a waste of your time and money”. This was not because of personal experience but based on other people’s opinions (I know some things you need to experience for yourself). However, with my recent experience with Dr. Grande practice has forever changed my opinion. I highly recommend their chiropractic practice to anyone and everyone in need, especially if you have been involved in a car accident. Now, if you have time to continue reading, I will share with you why. It started out as a beautiful sunny day (I know cliché’) but seriously it really was ????. My family and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast together to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. I returned home to relax and enjoy the rest of the day. I was planning to end my day in the same way I started it, enjoying a meal with family. Unfortunately, the evening would not end as wonderfully as it had begun. In my travel to meet with my family, I was involved in a head on collision, which destroyed my car and changed my life. I thought the pain of a broken bone was the worst of it; however, after a couple of days, that thought would prove to be very wrong. The parts of my body that was still intact (well nothing would appear on an x-ray as broken but I sure did feel broken) caused me so much pain, just to move or turn one way or another. Now, I believe I have an extremely high tolerance for pain, but this time I COMPLAINED with every twist, turn, or movement ???? and I did not care who heard me or who’s nerves I was getting on, because I was in some serious pain. About a month ago, I injured my lower back. I called Dr. Grande’s office for an appointment. Karyn was able to fit me in that same day. I could barely walk or any movement had me crying out in pain. Dr. Grande knew what was wrong and explained my injury to me. He began treatment in my first session and fitted me with a back brace. Dr. Grande’s treatment is integrative techniques that fits his client the best. By the end of my third visit, I could bend down without pain. In my third week, my back pain was gone and leg pain had significantly reduced. I could stand and walk around more. Now I am in maintenance mode and have a visit once a month. Dr. Nicholas A. Grande at Grande Family Chiropractic is exceptional. I have been a patient of his for nearly 9 years. Dr. Grande has greatly increased my mobility, taken care of all my pain needs in my back and neck, and most recently severe pain in my left hand. I had pain and swelling in my hand and right away Dr. Grande knew something was wrong. He sent me for an MRI and I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis. I had taken a bad fall on black ice several years back and the injury came back as arthritis, and was very painful. Dr. Grande referred me to the chief orthopedic surgeon at Anne Arundel Medical Center, but in the meantime, he worked on my hand to provide me some relief, which I greatly appreciated. Even before I went to my orthopedic appointment, Dr. Grande knew what would happen. He works well with other doctors to help his patients get the full treatment that they need. I was involved in multiple car accidents in 2010, 2011 and 2012 which left me with chronic cervical and thoracic pain. At the time I went through 18 months of physical therapy after the first accident, 12 months of PT from the second accident and another 12 months after the third accident. Over the years, I grew accustomed to the constant tightness in my neck, on and off numbness in my hands and weekly stress headaches that had no relief from medication. I finally decided to try chiro treatment in 2020 since the shooting pains in my arms and neck had resumed, I was assuming a little relief may be better than the constant pain. Much to my amazement Dr Grande resolved my headaches entirely within a few weeks!!!! The tightness slowly but surely resolved as well! Before I knew it I had almost full range of motion in my neck and haven't had headaches in months! It was the best decision I ever made! So thankful for Dr Grande and his practice!

Dr. Grande is one of the BEST doctors I have seen. I was in a car accident back in October I just came to see him for my lower back and my left shoulder I didn't think that I had a head concussion but he decided to do a balance test and that was when he discovered I did have a head concussion. He worked on getting my balance back and little by little I improved but not just that we started working on my lower back and left shoulder and I improved so much. He is always mindful on how you feel at every appointment by the way there is BARELY any wait time and especially during this pandemic. Dr. Grande has a great team Karyn that is usually at the front desk is ALWAYS very welcoming and she is the one who literally contacted me the next day after my accident if you ever need to reschedule due to an emergency they are always willing to accommodate you. Anyways over all Dr. Grande is GREAT Karyn is GREAT.

I had an accident in November of 2020 , after the police came and did their investigation I went home thinking all was well. The next day i woke up in so much pain . All types of body ache I hurt like I've never hurt before I called my lawyer and he sent me to Grande Family Chiropractic. That was the best he could have done . I became a patient as a result of a car accident and prior to this I had never been to a chiropractor in my life. The first examination was a true indicator of my experience...THOROUGH and EFFICIENT! I learned so much about the mechanics of the body which I strongly believe advanced my recovery. My range of motion increased significantly and there is absolutely no pain. I am so appreciative of the time spent to aid in getting me back to normal! I am also appreciative in the scheduling flexibility as much scheduled changed weekly throughout my treatment.

I've been having an ongoing problem with my back causing tension on my nerve to the point that i would struggle being able to turn my neck left or right.I also had an injury on my right shoulder from playing football, it was dislocated and never put back in the proper position,so my right shoulder muscle would pull my arm up causing a severe unbalance in the way i walked.Ive visted the Grande Family Chiropractic a few times and was highly satisfied from the results of my posture straightening as well as my relief of pain, i practically grew 2 in. Jan 27 injured during a car accident and I incurred considerable injuries in my neck and lower back. Upon consulting with my attorney, Dr. Grande was recommended for chiropractic services. After initial consult, Dr. Grande determined I suffered whiplash and immediately recommended treatment. Upon following the treatment plan and advice I am glad to say I am experiencing much less pain after being treated.

I was in a car accident late November 2019 and had a concussion, neck, back, and shoulder pain. I found Grande Family Chiropractic's and began coming here. It was a bit of a drive but it was worth it in the end. After about 3 months and 20 visits, i began feeling better and the pain slowly began to fade each time I came. On October 17, 2019 I was rear ended in a parking lot. I had extreme pain all over including headaches, neck, back (upper, mid and lower) legs and arms. Dr. Grande and his staff were on top of my case and problems. The treatment I received was very detailed and explanations why were definite informative; that left me with a peace of mind. Without going into to much detail he takes care of the causes and symptoms of pain. I even told my spouse about the treatment I received since she goes to a chiropractor and she could not believe the detail treatment I received from him and not she wants to switch chiropractors and come over to see Dr. Grande.
