horrible doctor

I have been going to Dr. Patel for the past 2 years. I have never had to wait more than 15 mins to be seen, and have not experienced the rudeness, as stated in some of these reviews. I would highly recommend Dr. Patel for his patience and knowledge.

Even if you are registered patients and you get sick, they don't accept walk ins. No need to be regular patient as when you are very sick and you really want to see doctor, you need to search for some other doctor.... very disappointing

I do have to say this doctor knows what he’s doing. I was having some health issues back when I saw him, saw many doctors before him and no one could figure it out. He knew what it was and I had a diagnosis. A year, and all these doctors. He was the only one to know what it was. But his doctors office is kind of unorganized, small and almost claustrophobic. I know he has many patients so I’m confused as to why or how he hasn’t moved into a larger building. I know it’s probably expensive and he wants to save on costs. But it would probably do him a world of good. Idk how they survived during a pandemic with his really small wait room. You’re literally waiting with 6-7 other people in a very very small wait room. It was unorganized, sometimes very chaotic. And that’s why I left. If he had a bigger practice, with more space. And more organization, I think I would’ve stayed. Also hiring more front office staff would probably help as well. ????‍♀️ I do have to say this doctor knows what he’s doing. Horrible doctor does not know what is going on nurses are incompetent and need mental help. The staff just looks at each other when asked a question. Honestly only go here if you know what is wrong with you so he can just give you the pills and leave. Please if you want to be fixed at all LEAVE.

MY WIFE HAS BEEN THERE FOR 2 HOURS!! I know for a fact that waiting shouldn’t take a whole hour because she got there on time and I am doctor so I would know how long is the wait for next patient!

I have been in this office 2-3 times, there is always a long wait here, but today was unacceptable. 60+ minutes wait after making an appointment. I left work early just to see the PA here, since Dr. Patel wasn’t available at all, and I wait this long just to see the PA. Very bad impression of the office. Dr. Patel and even the PA is great at what they do, but there is no pattern with the patient intake and passing the chart over. DO YOU CARE AT ALL ABOUT YOUR PATIENTS COMPLAINS ? GET ORGANIZED AND DON'T JUST THINK HOW YOU CAN RIP PPLS INSURANCES OFF!! OUR TIME IS VALUABLE AND YOU OBVIOUSLY DON'T CARE!! NEED CHANGE IMMEDIATELY ORGANISATION AND DON'T LET US WAIT FOREVER!

Staff is really bad.It’s really bad attitudes.when I went all American staff. They don’t know how to treat with patients. They don’t help to guest and don’t understand situation and circumstances. I suggested for Dr.Nipun patel but due to they staff I don’t think anyone can help.

I went for a yearly checkup and I had insurance, not great insurance, but I was suppose to get a yearly exam for free. The doctor wrote me a prescription for b12 and ordered some lab work as well as referrals for “female” checkups, so I was charged $96. My insurance then paid almost $1000. I have since gotten bills for $100 and now they have put a collection on my credit. Also, I was called with the results from a colon cancer screening test that I never took and was still billed for! The doctors wife is an unemotional, uncaring, detached woman I’ve ever met. Quite frankly, she’s ignorant. The African woman who runs the check out doesn’t clearly understand the questions that are being asked of her. If I ask “what type of test need to be ran” she will respond. “It’s $60”. She is beyond rude and unprofessional. The office it’s self is outdated. If you need certain test such as something as simple as a ultrasound, they out source you to go somewhere else. This office has a very high turn over rates for employees worse than a cleaning company. How can you be a training office when not one medical student has stayed on after they work here. He caters to a certain clientele. To be frank, if your black GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Zero stars. The doctor never gets to what’s wrong with you. “I have back pain” him: “you need to lose weight” a shame. I went to another doctor and found out I had kidney stones. They need to either do better or close. Office is stuck in 1978. Great doctor and clinic

I had good experience Dr. Patel and staff very helpful and understanding.

Excellent family doctor. When I didn't have insurance, I could go there for a flat rate of $85 and talk about any issues. The tests he prescribes can also be done at his office, so all the running to test labs is avoided. He also helps you prepare the immigration package - will vaccinate, test and provide a sealed copy of report for UCSIS and a normal copy for you. Only problem is, if you don't make appointments, you can just walk-in in case of urgency, but the wait is long then. Overall, he is my go-to doctor. Excellent family doctor. Dr Patel is WONDERFUL AND AMAZING! But not worth the exorbitant wait times or suffering his RUDE front office staff.

super annoying receptionist. she does not listen to what you have to ask or say she keeps arguing and keeps shouting over the phone. when asked for manager she says no manager here. oh my god never seen such a worst receptionist that too at the doctors office.

The wait time is insane! I mean he is a good doctor but the front office and waiting time is out of control! Just wear your patience and be ready! Even with an appointment...it's ridiculous..

It is with great disappointment that I write this review. I have been a patient of Dr Patel's on and off for a long time, but no longer. I recently went to the clinic and had the displeasure of being seen by Nurse Practitioner KAUR. Kaur speaks in a loud monotone voice as if she wants the whole office to hear what shes saying. I went to the clinic because I had extremely painful thrush in my mouth, and down my throat, I could barely speak. I also asked for an adjustment on my anxiety/depression meds as I feel like what I am taking is not working. N.P. KAUR responded by telling me that my HIV positive health issue is not a death sentence and, "No need for self pity". She never bothered to inquire about what else might be causing anxiety (didnt care). I have been the sole caregiver of my elderly Mother who has Alzheimer's and is deteriorating while trying to maintain the household and holding down a full time job. Needless to say there was no action for the anti anxiety medication. There is more to the story but I stop here. I will not support a practice with such an uncaring, hateful person. After a month of thinking about the experience I have finally decided to write this review. If you go, ask for Dr. Patel. He is great. As for N.P. KAUR, I hope she never gets a disease that is as she stated, "A hassle to deal with." It is with great disappointment that I write this review. Dr. Nipun, I have no clue on how you don't look at the Google Reviews and see how many people have been mistreated by your own employees. Multiple complaints about your nurse, and a thousand complaints about your receptionist. Maybe it's time to put a new hire sign ASAP. I have been on the phone trying to make an appointment for about 20 minutes. I find it rude when the receptionist doesn't ask someone to hold, at my job my line is: "Thank you for calling _____, do you mind if I put you on a brief hold?". The receptionist told me to stay on hold and didn't even get back to me. I got tired of waiting and just hung up, taking my business somewhere else. If you're that backed up, HIRE MORE EMPLOYEES. Dr. Patel and staff are wonderful and genuine. My whole family goes to this practice and for many years. I highly recommend Dr. Nipun B. Patel, because he is dedicated and really understands medicine. He is board certified, mentors medical students, and offers a residency for newly graduated physicians. His practice accepts most insurance plans and they are located across from the Embry Hills shopping center. Dr. Patel and staff are wonderful and genuine. Dr Patel is great he so nice but the clinic is a mess not organized at all I had appointment at 9:00 am they call my name at 12:45 pm and when you go inside the employees walking back and forth doing nothing trust I will not recommend this place for any one

Yes, Dr Nipun Patel is a good doctor, but the clinic sucks. I have been coming here for 14yrs or so. Weather you make appointment or not your wait time is between 1.30-2:00 hrs. Waiting area sucks, crowded no place to sit. And for last few years they have nurse practitioner which just wastage of time again. If you have a option to go see a doctor, go somewhere else. Dr nipun Patel is very good doctor - I am been here from many years - I have recommended many people to him - to my staff / but unfortunately I have to give up today after getting frustrate and tired sitting in the lobby with my mom .who is 86 yrs old - and have to sit with me to see her family doctor for routine checkup . It was her regular checkup and this staff who is worst in talking , attitude no customer service - no experience I don’t know they might be working in mc Donald’s drive thru before or what after calling like 3 times and get appointment 4th day at 2.45 pm And reach there at 2.30 pm And after getting bored and mad sitting like a stupid for 2 hrs and patient coming behind me who don’t even have appointments- just walk in - there are going in front of me - so I would like to know what kind of clinic this is . Dr. Patel has been my Primary Care Physician for nearly 7 years, and hopefully a lot more. He cares for his patients and actually LISTENS TO THEM, which is hard to find these days. What I love about his practice is that he takes walk-in patients as well as appointments. If you work an odd or irregular schedule like myself, you can't always set a specific appointment time, but you can still get in and be seen. You might have to wait a little while though. His staff is always friendly as well.

Horrible Service Office Manager Is the Doctor She speaks for the Doctor...Was Mis Diagnosed for a year and put on several different antibodies for no reason. Every time I come there is a different office tech and nurses for this to be a small practice the turnover rate is ridiculous. Will be looking for a new physician

We've been with Dr. Patel for over 8 years alot has changed in his practice. Wait times can be a little long and his office is pretty busy so when he does come in to see you it's only for a short period of time. I wish there was more time to speak with the doctor about concerns. The only thing we've had problems with in the past is communication over the phone but overall he is a good doctor and is worth going to if you're interested in a family doctor. This office is very unprofessional and the office manager is the physician the Dr takes orders from the office manager and My Dr Mis diagnosed me for a year putting me on antibodies I did not need and kept saying he does not know what I had after going to a specialist I was diagnosed and properly prescribed the correct antibodies

On a late Friday afternoon, I was experiencing unbelievable pain. Dr Patel saw me quickly, determined it may be gallbladder attack, provided a shot with fast relief from pain and perscribed an ultrasound for further testing. He and his staff saved me from many long hours and a considerable amount of $$$$ by avoiding an ER. I am so very thankful for their help!

My family and I have had at least three what's with Dr. Patel in the last 3 months. We've never waited less than 45 minutes after our scheduled appointment time to see someone. He doesn't listen to what your concerns are in the three minutes he's with you. The most competent people on his staff are the medical students. They are the only ones in the office who seem to be concerned with your time, condition, and concerns. Definitely finding a new PCP. This office is a poor ambassador for medicine
