I have been a patient of doctor Norman McKoy for years and he genuinely cares about his patients. No matter what my issues he always makes sure I get the best care and recommend the best specialist. The ladies at the front desk miss Carrie and miss Michelle are very friendly and professional and always willing to help. It's good to have a health care provider that you trust and people servicing you with a good attitude. Receptionist, Karrie is rude and curt!! The doctor was recommended by current patient. I read previous reviews prior of office staff. Wanted to believe those were isolated events. No, true to form receptionist is rude. I wonder how many patients doctor is losing. Because time is of the essence is the only reason we will keep appointment. Will be looking for new doctor soon. The administration of this practice is terrible. It’s inefficient, chaotic, and unprofessional. The doctor himself has a very nice bedside manner but the time you waste waiting for everything associated make it not worth the hassle. I will definitely be changing my primary care doctor.

The front office staff here is ridiculous.... I have not even met the doctor but dealing with the front is a fiasco. Please get new front facers and I will com back with my family.

Very friendly staff and well informed Doctor

He was my first doctor my experience with him is good the ladies at the front desk are welcoming. But i have one question for the doctor.Where did you get your receptionist from? I just switch to another doctor bc of this rude receptionist on phone. I even called to request my medical pappers she will respond rudly is either she keeps u on phone and never respond or she hangs the phone.I called the lab where the doctor send me to and the said they don't have any past record of me .I had no explantion from anybody as the receptionist is not willing to talk. I called to make an appointment as a new patient. Unfortunately I couldn't even tolerate being on the phone with the receptionist long enough to give her any of my information. She seemed agitated from the minute she answered the phone. I thanked her and said goodbye, and scrolled down to the next doctor on my referral list.

This office is the embodiment of waste of time and resources. I had to wait for two hours and was seen for only 10 minutes. The doctor was never interested to know what I was there for. To top it all, the office staff needs extreme training for good customer service. I cringe every time I have to call to ask questions because of how rude they are. I know I can always afford to find a primary care physician but I just want to let others know before they go through such an ordeal.

I wouldnt recommend this practice.. Super young and childish CNAs that spoke very loudly about my reason for my visit outside of the room. And I didnt seem all too much like much of a priority being that i heard the doctor I was seeing talk about hair and hair products while I was waiting in the room next door. And of course, the normal rude front desk ladies to top it off. Have never seen McKoy though so cant speak on him, but office was very unprofessional to me. I wouldnt recommend this practice.. This place is ridiculous curly hair receptionist is rude and a gives off a vibe like your bothering her. The wait time are outrageous I arrived at 8am and now at 10:02 am still waiting and don’t seem like I’m going back no time soon . The waiting area is extra small so it gets crowded quickly and with the long wait time it gets cramped and stuffy this doctor office is worst than an ER. Although the doctors are very professional and polite, the office staff is very far from that to say the least. They're phone etiquette is poor, and they're response to medical records request is horrendous. I was actually told my medical records request will be handled in their down time. Mind you it's been about four months since the initial request was sent, and numerous requests have been sent since then. I have to hand deliver the request since the claim is they've never received the fax......Really!!! The doctor himself is very thoughtful and considerate. Staff needs improvement however, but I wont knock the doctor for that.

I've been to this location a few times since the Lake Arbor office closed and have had NO problems. The staff in the front office are polite and very helpful. The doctor's are knowledgeable and friendly. Please don't be led a stray by others bad comments.

Just terrible takes way too long to fill out forms

I am a new patient. My first time was in December of 2015 and I had a great experience. I went in yesterday (walk-in) and I sat in the lobby for 2 hours. NOONE acknowledged me or even asked me for my copay. I went up to the counter after 30 mins of me just sitting there and someone told me that I was next. NOT SO!! I was very frustrated however I did not cause a sense. I simply gathered my belongings and walked out. I have never been to a doctors office where no one acknowledges you. I am a new patient. Horrible...unprofessional staff. The Dr. is never present. Nurse Pactitioner only. Physician Assistants are immature, unprofessional and lack direction. You receive better treatment at a clinic in a third-world country during a power outage. This is such a sad reflection of minority practices. The PA's laugh and talk about their patients openly. Aren't they aware that patient billing pays their salary? They are so pathetic.

he telephone was off during normal business hours they don't check their messages bad customer service. A employee des not call you back and finally nurses have their child in the front desk. The office is very cold like a clinic.
