Dr. Oluyemisi Adesanya Famuyiwa

I am writing this review in hopes of helping other couples in need of help in their fertility journey. My husband and I had already been trying to conceive for about 2 years before meeting Dr. Famuyiwa and her team. We had tried conceiving naturally for about a year and had been seen by this other fertility clinic without any luck for about a year. We had tried over 5 IUIs (intrauterine insemination) both with and without medication. It was only after I met Dr. Famuyiwa when I found out IUIs have less chance of pregnancy after 3 tries, however my previous fertility clinic had never taken the time to explain this important part of information to us. They offered IVF but in the end they kept saying we still have chance with IUIs giving us false hopes. I work at a hospital with very fluctuating schedule and with waiting time over an hour with the other fertility clinic, it was nearly impossible to make an appointment with them without burning through my PTO. When I had asked the doctor at the time about appointments with my work schedule, the answer in return was “other working patients make it happen.” I never felt so helpless and hopeless in my entire life. This was when we decided to change the fertility clinic because that fertility clinic made me feel like I was just another number in their business for them. Montgomery fertility clinic was different from the beginning. I knew when I first met Dr. Famuyiwa that she is truely a caring and compassionate provider. She made me cry on our first visit because she promised to work with my schedule to make it happen. I felt SO supported and encouraged during the entire journey. MFC staffs are like family, every single one of them work their heart out to bring joys to life and they go above and beyond working early and late hours to accommodate busy scheduled patients. They show tremendous amount of dedication towards patient care. If you are reading this review and is considering coming to MFC, you don’t have to hesitate anymore. I have wasted soooo much time, money, and heart at this other fertility clinic. Now I am happily and healthily pregnant with our first child after 1 IVF transfer. It was sad to say temporary good byes to the team (will be returning for our second child), because I have “graduated” from the fertility clinic now on to regular OB/GYN but I am very grateful to Dr. Famuyiwa and her team!!!

Today I had an appointment with Dr. Famuyiwa, and I must say that her front desk staff were very friendly & accommodating. See, I’ve been a patient of Dr. Famuyiwa / MFC for over twenty years, but when she moved to a new location it was over an hour away from where I live, so I went to another doctor. That was a mistake, because all the doctors that I went to could not match Dr. Famuyiwa’s, energy, vibe, knowledge, skill, patience, willing to take the time to explain, care & respect that she shows her patients/clients. Do yourself a favor. If you ever need a great Fertility Doctor/OB/GYN Go to Montgomery Fertility Clinic & see Dr. Famuyiwa. I promise you, you will be totally happy with your decision. I’m so glad that I came back to her. She is worth the drive & so is my health.

Dr Famuyiwa is a very compassionate doctor who is very good at what she does. she is full of faith and positive vibes. The first time my husband and I walked into her office, she gave us her time and full attention. she explained to us in details all options and gave us hope. We were self-paid patient at the time, she guided us on getting the right insurance. I remember our first ultrasound was done for free. That meant a lot to us, that tells you she is not all about the money. She truly cares and ready to help.am so grateful that we met her. Dr Famuyiwa helped my husband and I to grow our family and today we are grateful to God and her practice for the gift of our little Angel. From the day we walked in to that office in September 2017, it has been nothing but great service. Very supportive staff, you have a doctor that actually treat you like family and not just as a random patient. It has been a long journey for us but they were with us, we laugh and cried together. You can tell that the love and the support is genuine...that’s what I called a Good Doctor. Fertility is something that our community overlook, people have no compassion these days and treat you like a disabled; the Montgomery Fertility center staff never made me feel like a was worthless, if anything they had faith I would become a mother. Pricing if anything is below the market... trust me I did my research. As a returned customer you get great discount which was a plus. This is the only clinic that when you feel like your world is turning upside down, you can walk in without an appointment to your doctor’s office and let it all out. My husband and I had been to Shady Grove Fertility Center and we cannot describe the horrific treatment we received there. By chance and the grace of God we came across Dr. Famuyiwa and after almost a year of disappointments she guided us and literally has given us a miracle. Not only does she stay current on all the latest trends but she is very hands on. During our first meeting she didn't even know we were physicians and treated us so kindly when we told her that we were also in the medical field she became a mentor. Not only would I say she is one of few physicians left out there that is not money hungry but she is a genuine human being that treats all patients the same. I have sat in her waiting room just seeing anxious couples go in and happy couples come out. I wondered if that would ever be me. Because she is honest and genuinely caring she is blessed with this gift of giving people a family. This is no joke. She does not give false hope. My experience at the Montgomery Fertility Center was great! The facility is beautiful, clean, well- organized, and the staff there are very professional with a touch of kindness and a "down to earth", happy disposition. Dr. Famuyiwa allowed me to explain what my needs are, and she took the time to sit down and educate me about everything from the initial proceedings, the actual procedure, and follow-up. As a nurse myself, I really appreciated the attention to detail and the medical expertise that she shared with me as a patient. Montgomery Fertility Center / Dr. Famuyiwa, please listen to me and look for a professional Fertility Center. This place is the most unpleasant, unprofessional, and unethical doctor's office I have ever experience. On my first appt. I waited over 45 min., the second appt. I waited over 3 hrs. The reception is manage by incompetent people who have trouble from setting an appt up to following up with your treatment. While waiting I saw the personnel sleeping in their chair. By far the most INCOMPETENT practice I've ever been to. I have spent the last SIX months trying to have my medication correctly filled after coming to the appointment with my medical records and prescription dosing and administration guidelines from my previous RE who had successfully treated me for 2+ years. I spoke to both the Dr and her medical resident who clearly understood the prescription request. I've called the office 40 times trying to get the RX correct. She's sent me for more bloodwork but not called with the results. She's insisted I come back in for an appointment because it's been so long since I was seen. IF THE MEDICATION WAS CORRECTLY PRESCRIBED AT MY INITIAL APPOINTMENT I WOULDN'T NEED ANOTHER ONE! Furthermore, my FIRST appointment with "her" involved 4+ "students" who were to start working with her. There's nothing like a pap smear in front of a live studio audience. By far the most INCOMPETENT doctor's office o have ever worked with. I was seen 6 months ago and brought in all of my medical records including dosing and administration directions from my last RE who had been successfully? treating me for 2+ years. For the last 6 months the office has incorrectly called in my prescription endangering my health and bone density due to POF. Furthermore, during my INITIAL appointment she had 4 "new staff" observing my pap smear and exam. Horrendous bedside manner!
