Was a patient of Dr. Gills for 5 yrs, to long. I'm 42! Depression, & anxiety have been a big struggle for me, & has increased, over the past few yrs, after becoming Secondary Adrenal Insufficient (steroid dependent), & hypothyroidism, which makes me very ill! Mentally, & emotionally, I'm not doing well, either. She tells me that, she's going to administer "tough love", & that I need to just get happy, get a job, & my medical problems will go away! Very thorough, wonderful listener. I felt very comfortable with her.

Strictly by the book, doesn't understand the ART of medicine, or CREATIVE medicine! Doesn't research past history on new patient, therefore, does not understand patients medical condition properly! Does NOT listen to her patients at all, at least in my case. Does not always respond to called in questions about tests and prescriptions. Happened to me twice. Worst doctor I ever had!!! Stay away from Newberry. This doctor doesn't answer reasonable questions. She has too many patients. She is misinformed about some of the new laws. She doesn't have a genuine concern for patients, won't fight for their rights. She is pro inchurance company guidelines , even when not in the best or reasonable interest of her patients.
