Mr. Patrick Joseph Gooley

A therapist is supposed to make you feel, safe, supported, and open. I did not experience this once working with pat for nearly a year. For nearly every session all he would do is lecture, and talk down to me. Standoffish. Very condescending and arrogant. My 15 year old son felt very belittled by the confrontational way this therapist spoke down to him almost like he was trying argue. He actually hung up on my son about 30 mins into a phone session this afternoon after telling my son he "probably can't help him and good luck" Absolutely unprofessional. I would not recommend Mr Gooley, in fact I think my son will now need therapy to get over the so called therapy he received here! Very condescending and arrogant.
