Dr. Patrick P Litam

My father was treated by Dr. Litam. His cancer metastasized, but instead of Dr. Litam being honest. He gave him false hope of treatment. Until 2 weeks later and he ended up in the hospital. Then we learned the truth and why my father was sent home from his original appointment with such heavy pain meds. He was terminal. Dr. Litam does not give the hard news. He sends his assistant, LATER!!!!

I really appreciate the care I receive at the HOC in Elyria. Dr.Litam and the gang out there are caring, compassionate and, organized. Thanks to all.

3 stars. Why? Because I was willing to wait for my next appointment with to give him a second chance. I really wanted to wait to know him better. However, since I was frequently contacted by an automated call system to do this, here I go... (I am getting to the point) I was curious about the treatment he suggested, since it was totally new for me (I was told that my anemia is not due iron deficiency and I have never had ferritin issues before), and he asked me: "Don't you want to feel better?". I looked at him and smiled because I thought he was using humor, but he wasn't. I told him: "Doctor, of course, who doesn't?" I am pretty sure that he meant good to me, maybe he sees patients has his children that need to care and protect. However there are ways to talk to a curious patient. I hope this ends the automated calling.

Everyone is so nice there. They’re very efficient and quick. Dr. Litam is wonderful…very compassionate!!!

Dr. Litam has always treated me with respect and very professional. His lab staff are also caring ladies. I have been seeing them for 18 months now and have always had the best of care.

This was my first appointment with Dr Litam, on a referral from my family doctor. Dr Litam was very pleasant and professional, explaining what my potential problem is, and re-assured me that it’s manageable.

Dr. Patrick Litam has been my oncologist for well over two decades and as a cancer survivor of a radical hemipelvectomy and a gasterectomy, his expertise has changed my life! I was so critically sick and with infusions and careful consideration of all my challenges, I am a high functioning 65 year old grandma enjoying life. He will always be credited for me as a five star humble physician!

I was amazed at Dr. Litam's total focus into my deep vein thrombosis condition two years ago - he was concerned, and asked several questions to identify cause and treatment. Over time, he made me feel very much at ease by explaining how new blood vessels grow around the affected vein, thus giving me hope for a full recovery. I am happy to be under his care.
