My daughter had a bracket come off during our stay in LA, we traveled from the Kansas City area. We tried couple other Orthodontist in the area but apparently taking a bracket off the wire is not something they felt comfortable doing. Called Dr. Turley’s office, the receptionist was a sweetheart after explaining what happened. She put me on a brief hold, came back and told me the doctor would be happy to help, mind you! He was not seeing patients today, just happen to be in the office, and HE AGREED! I seriously thought I was going to spend the whole day looking for an Ortho to remove the bracket, lost hope in the first couple places, not to mention how rude the other places were ????. Got us in and out within 10 minutes! Thank you so so much, now she can continue to enjoy the rest of vacation in LA without having a bracket digging her gum or turning around while chewing. I was randomly thinking about how I took off my braces early against DR Turleys' request. I had been to 3 other orthodontists prior to him, and braces for a very long time. Dr. Turley decided to pull my bicuspids and my overbite immediatly started going away. Within a year I felt I was ready to take them off, but he wanted me not to. I was 18 and ready though, I had braces for longer than remembered. I never saw DR turley again and lost my retainer. But! My teeth are still strait, its really amazing.
