We just moved to the area recently. My husband, who is Type-1 diabetic, went into a coma before the move. Because his insurance he had in Tennessee wouldn’t cover non-emergency doctors visits outside the state, he’s had to wait to obtain NC insurance before getting the follow-up care he needs. After searching his options for qualified doctors who are trained and experienced in endocrinology, we were relieved to find Dr. Gulley. However, after calling his office to get an appointment for my husband, we were told that his office is not accepting new patients because of the pandemic. Physician’s offices all over are taking temperatures, etc. to screen for the virus. Why not Dr. Gulley’s office? If a Type-1 diabetic, who’s still trying to recover from a coma, contracts the virus, he’ll be in the hospital, fighting for his life, not searching for a doctor who will help him with his coma recovery. If all physician’s offices refuse to take new patients until the pandemic passes, my husband will never get the care he desperately needs. The whole world’s gone crazy. Extremely thorough and helpful. He is absolutely my favorite doctor. He has already helped me control my diabetes better than any doctor and I have been diabetic for at least 25 years.

Dr. Gulley is excellent. He is very thorough and explains everything in great Detail so you can understand it. I highly recommend him. The Staff is also fantastic especially Gina.

Dr Gulley has been treating me for adrenal insufficiency for 4 years. He is very knowledgeable and has done great in my treatment. He is very caring and listens intently to everything I need to discuss with him. Just recently, he did some lab work on me, after discussing additional new symptoms. His office called me to let me know I also have Graves Disease. He does regular lab work to keep a check on my thyroid levels and for adequate med dosage. He always calls me when I have a concern.
