If you need any oculofacial plastic surgery done, look no further than Dr. Phelps and his amazing staff!!! I had my blepharoplasty done here last week and they were absolutely amazing. Dr. Phelps uses a CO2 laser to perform the procedure which leaves very minimal bruising and bleeding. His entire staff takes absolutely the best care of you. I needed an upper eyelid surgery and had been searching for an oculofacial plastic surgeon for over two years. Chicagoland area has only a handful of oculofacial plastic surgeons. My consultation with previous 2 surgeons was not fruitful. I met Dr Daniel Tresley. His office manager probably would be more suitable working in a car dealership then a Doctor's office. The entire staff was completely un-professional. They lack compassion and basic patient care. My last consultation was with Dr. Phelps. I read about his background and all his reviews. Thank God I choose him and I couldn't be happier. He was very detailed during his consultation and walked me through as to what I should expect from my upper eyelid surgery. My surgery went smoothly. Along with being an exceptional surgeon his bed side manners are just superb. He is compassionate and really cares for his patient's well being. Thank you to his entire staff Jazmin, Maria and of course Dr. Phelps.

Absolutely amazing experience from start to wonderful and beautiful finish! Could not be happier with the results! I look even better than I had hoped and you truly cannot see any evidence of the surgery other than the amazing results. You can actually see my eyes when I smile! The ONLY thing I would change is having the surgery performed years ago with Dr. Phelps. I had a bilateral upper blepharoplasty and internal browpexy to help the results last longer. I was conscious for the entire procedure which took about an hour, and I went home immediately after. Recovery was shorter and less painful than I could have hoped for. I was able to work almost immediately and within a week you could barely see any sign of the surgery. I am now 3 months out and you cannot even see the scars! Absolutely the highest of recommendations from this thrilled patient!

I had External Levator Advancement with Dr. Phelps in March 2020; his kindness, care and concern is amazing. He is a wonderful surgeon and even though my eyes are still healing, I can already tell that the procedure was successful. For the first time in quite a while I have peripheral vision. After 2 other surgeries with others, Dr. Phelps completely eliminated my tri-chi-a-sis in both eyes. I have not had any eyelash problems since then close to 6 months ago. He is outstanding!

An amazing Doctor I was highly recommended by my Internist. Certainly had my questions answered by Dr. Phelps.

My eye lids began to droop at a fast rate, and the amt. of light coming in,& my field of vision shrank quite quickly. My optomoloist suggested I see Dr. Paul Phelps for treatment. After a few months of observation, he deemed it was time to take action. He performed an eyelid reduction (?) procedure in an OR. As soon as he was done, and I removed the ice bags, I could see far more clearly, my field of vision had improved. Over the healing week, I continued to see improvements. I am thrilled.

I had three surgery procedures with Dr. Phelps in the last 6 months. From the minute that I arrived at reception for the first procedure I was treated by the staff with genuine concern and support. I was nervous, of course, and I was put at ease by the nursing staff who explained the entire procedure, patiently answering every question I had. The anesthesiologist came in to answer any questions. He wasn't rushed, and, again was happy to stay and answer any of my concerns. We chatted about non-surgery things which was calming for me. From my first appointment/inquiry with Dr. Phelps I found him personable and friendly, calming my anxiety about the first surgery. On the day of the first surgery, he visited me in the preparation room and put me at ease before going in for surgery. I had a thorough understanding of what to expect. Dr. Phelps is very skilled and I like the results of the 3 surgeries. Additionally, Dr. Phelps is disarming, charming and easy going. Entrusted my saggy-baggy eye lids to Dr Phelps after interviewing four MD. He has magical hands, is conservative and trustworthy. Extremely anxious before I went in for a consultation. He explained the procedure. Excellent outcome. I can see again! I can comfortably open my eye lids ! I can see sides without turning my head, And he took 20 years off my face just by repairing my eye lids. 5 stars

I have been seeing Dr. Phelps for a year and getting Botox treatments every 3 months for wrinkles on my forehead. I was anxious to have Botox but Dr. Phelps made the procedure easy. He always asked if I was fine and told me what to expect. The results are natural looking and my fine lines are gone! Go see Dr. Phelps!

Dr. Phelps removed a mole on my face that has bothered me since childhood. It healed without any scarring. He put in a few stitches in that dissolved on their own, so no painful suture removal!
