Dr. Paul J Sturmer

Saw this clinician for a couple years. Told me to get a job and I would feel better. When I told my new psychologist after I fired him she almost reported him to the state. If you have no intelligence or believe that psychologists know everything you will do very well. Does not like to be questioned or challenged and typically doesn't have answers to questions that seem basic. Arrogant, aggressive and at least for me did more harm than good.

My experience as a client of Paul Sturmer at Northeast Occup. Exchange in Portland, ME from 2005-2008 was neither sitive nor productive. He tried to humiliate me for not believing all of mainstream media and for holding any "conspiracy theories", etc.. He went out of his way to do this. I have been doing very well (occupationally, relationships, mood/affect, etc. since leaving "therapy" with him. I believe that he wants to help, but my experience was actually quite negative and counterproductive

I have had Dr Sturmer since 1999 and I have NEVER had issues with him. Paul has always had techniques and exercises where it made my mental health diagnosis better and better.

Dr. Sturmer, Is an amazing listener, he is gifted at identifying the issues, he asks the "RIGHT" questions which a "GREAT" doctor would do, and finesses the delivery of the solution in such a way that brings people together and/or makes the individual feel valued and helped. I would highly recommend Dr. Sturmer to anyone who needs the help as he is very experienced, thorough, and simply the best. Thank you Dr. sturmer for all that you do.

DR STURMER IS A GOOD LICENSED PSYCHOLOGIST HE HELPS YOU OUT. HE LIST TOO WHAT U SAY TOO HIM. I GIVE HIM AA++ ALL THE WAY.

Dr. Sturmer is a compassionate, logical, solution driven psychologist who changed my life and I will never forget what his honest feedback and difficult questions ultimately did for not only me but for the lives of everyone who has to DEAL with me! I can't recommend him enough!
