Dr. Paula Y Paradis

We were lucky enough to get Dr. Paradis at Duke Urgent Care when we suspected my son had strep throat. Her demeanor was so warm and calm, she immediately put my tired and miserable son at ease. She made him laugh and totally distracted him from how bad he was feeling. She gave us a prescription, but told us to wait a few days to fill it if we felt comfortable waiting it out to see if he started to feel better. He felt better and we never had to use the antibiotics which we have been advised children can build a resistance too. She assured us it was our decision and that the medicine would be there if we needed it. So grateful that Duke Urgent Care has a pediatrician on staff and that we received her excellent care.
