I've been using Dr. Nam as my PCP for several years. However, I recently switched. Every time I schedule an appointment, I'm threatened with fines if I'm more than 15 minutes late, but I always wind up waiting at least an hour to see the doctor. Sometimes closer to two hours. On a few occasions, I've had to reschedule appointments after waiting in vain at the office. I've also had repeated mistakes from the office. I've gotten calls from pharmacies asking me to authorize other patients' prescriptions because someone entered my phone number as one of their doctor, rather than as a patient. I've gotten bills that were coded incorrectly, resulting in having to pay for services that were supposed to be covered by insurance. I've even gotten billed for visits that, according to their own records, never took place. The actual medical care is decent, albeit rushed. But if you use this doctor, get everything in writing and do not trust what they tell you in the office.

Dr. Nam has been extremely helpful and understanding of my health issues, PTSD and all that ails me. Even though a pandemic is arise I felt that Dr. Nam came to my rescue promptly and REALLY sees me, without judgement but with compassion. The staff are more than pleasant and very helpful. I highly recommend Dr.Nam's primary care! *****

Every single time I've been here my appointment time is never respected or kept. The office is always making me wait at least 1 hr past my appointment. This is rude and disrespectful and a bad business practice. Please fix yourself. ALERT WARNING! Edited after appointment. I complained about the lack of Coronavirus precautions in the bathroom for the pee test and how everyone is using the same pen to write their name on and after the fact was told by my mother who I went with to that appointment they told her I'm not allowed there anymore. My mom said that the manager said I threatened to call the health department on them. This is a lie from the manager. Lying is abhorrent and wrong. This female manager has a great deal of responsibility as a manager and it is appalling to have someone in a managerial position who lies. What else does she lie about. Please fix this business. Worst Doctor in the U.S. Nobody answers the phone in any department. They are breaking the law. Stay away if you care about your health. I found a place that gives you7 months of a cannabis prescription for $125. He gives me 2 months for $90. That is illegal. Thats not to say I tried to get blood pressure medication for 4 days and no joy. So now my blood pressure is through the roof. A phone call or answering the phone not to hard. Dr. Nam is a professional, great Doctor. He takes his time to listen to you. Office staff not so good. I leave messages and nobody reaches out to me. A week can pass by and they do not return phone calls and rarely answer the phones. It’s really bad. Tried to reach out to office manager and it has been impossible in 1 1/2 year. Dr. Pedro Nam is a great doctor as is all of his medical and lab staff. I've had recent problems with his appointment staff. They don't answer call. Left messages for over a month to get an appointment and they never called back. On the fifth week they call me to book an appointment. At that time I had already seen another doctor. Dr Nam is a very dedicated and professional physician. I have great respect for him.

WORST doctors office I have ever had to deal with!! Tried for over a week to just set myself up as a new patient..and was never even able to speak to someone in the office! The answering service picks up after ringing for over 45 seconds to “take a message and call back number”, office NEVER CALLS BACK!!! the one time I did speak to a person in the office she told me my insurance probably made a mistake by assigning Dr Nam to me, would verify and call me right back...and of course she never did as well. So unbelievably frustrating since I needed to establish myself as s new patient with Dr Nam so that I can receive a referral to see a specialist. That doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen. Now I have to wait until the beginning of next month to change my provider. Just another way people get lost in the cracks of this messed up healthcare system. No sense of compassion or even decency from this awful doctor and his unprofessional staff. I’ll take my chances of getting more sick rather than see this doctor. I’ve been patient of Dr Nam since 4 years ago. Amazing Dr., first Dr that I feel he is listening to me and understanding me. He is always (but always) accurate with the diagnosis. Thank you Dr Nam

He’s an amazing doctor compassionate and accepts Medicare .... he’s very empathetic and my mom sees him too. Unfortunately it’s almost impossible to get through to his Office . Still honestly he goes above and beyond and takes everything very seriously reguarding symptoms very proactive!

Dr Nam is the best!! me & ny husband is his patient for a very long time!! You can also depend on his nurse practitioners,especially on Abby Unico..she's very kind and good. But i will never ever comeback for Madelaine,who works for the allergy!!She's was so rude & mean!! She has no manners,especially the way she talk to the patients..You can't really rely on her,especially for the shots!! She wasn't there most of the time,& never answer phone calls,even you left a message for her!! I texted her yesterday,,& even said good morning to her!!just checking if she would be there for my shots? She never respond right away,,& she knows,,i told her her a lot of times that i have to be at work before 9:00, She answers anyway,,around 7:57 & said "NO"!!! DR NAM HAS BEEN MY DOCTOR FOR OVER FOURTEEN YEARS HE VERY DEDICATED, EASY TO TALK TO AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE.

I have the flu but needed to wait for over an hour and a half to be seen. Finally, after 2 hours of being in their office, I was able to go home. I was told that my prescription was sent directly to my pharmacy only to discover that was not the case. There was nothing on my file. I tried contacting their office. Obviously being that it was after hours, I did not expect to speak to anyone but rather leave a message with their service. I was unable to do so because their mailbox was full. Never, ever have I heard of such a thing with a doctor's office. I will NOT be returning! I'd rather take my chances with MedExpress the next time. Had I least been able to leave a message in their service, I would not be writing this review at this moment. Worst experience at a doctor's office ever. The staff was polite but at the end of the day I wasted 3 hours with all of the traveling (while feeling horrible) and ended up with no medication. Dr. Nam is the best! He listens to you, is kind and professional and will make sure he gets to the bottom of what is wrong with you. He also has a great bedside manner, and due to all of the above my daughter and my husband see him now. They feel the same way too! His staff is awesome! They are on top of things, keep you informed, take care of scripts, etc . Special kudos to Catherine! We are so lucky!

Dr. Nam is a very knowledgeable caring physician but his staff can barely speak English and unfortunately they believe they're about the physicians. It's a shame to see the office staff make decisions on behalf of any physician who is on vacation. There should always be a physician available when the physician is not available. Once again, Dr. Nam is a professional, kind and caring physician but he needs to educate his staff into how to deal with any crisis when he's not available.

I have always found it hard to schedule an appointment. Most recently I scheduled an appointment weeks in advance only to find out upon arrival that the office is close. Beware of setting appointments around holiday times! They won't call you

This office normally has a person with a very thick accent and almost no communication skills in the English language call with lab results. The person can not answer any questions and does not know how to explain the results. The providers are fine as health providers, but the management of the office is extremely poor and disorganized, which ultimately does affect patient health care. Wait time is always over an hr, the receptionists have absolutely NO idea what they're doing/poor training. I recently found out they have been over-charging us (no refunds given) for the past several years, so I highly recommend you do not trust what the receptionists say at all (including requiring you to pay up front!).
