Personally, once we saw him a few times, we became very comfortable with him, and confident with his care. He is very compassionate ... he remains our physician, and probably, until he retires, will remain our physician. He's just not a touchy-feely type, so I think some may misunderstand this as a lack of caring and concern. We had our family physician for 33 and a half years before he was faced with a fatal health crisis, and about a year and a half later passed away from it. We miss him every day. He was a friend as well as our physician. But, we have only positive things to report about Dr. Erhardt.

He may be a good ER doctor, but as a PCP, he doesn't explain or discuss symptoms & treatment for an issue. His nurse takes the complaints, then he spend 5 minutes on the diagnosis while standing across the room. Friendly but not helpful. Changing doctors now.

If I could give this physician zero stars, I would. He was rude and impersonal and didn't listen to any of my concerns. I was scheduled for a routine check up and had health concerns to express, but he was in and out of my room in 90 seconds, tops. I felt like the visit was pointless. I think i would have gotten better care and a more attentive physician had I scheduled my check up with the urgent care down the road. I will be transferring my records ASAP.
