Dr. Philip John Baney IV

Dr. Baney has been my doctor since he first came into practice. I chose him instead of a pediatrician for all 4 of my children since birth. I'm confused by some of these negative reviews. 20 years and I have never had a bad experience. I highly recommend him and trust him. He seems to be a great family man also! I

Terrible human being he is very unprofessional and condescending. He does not care about his patients and acts inappropriate towards woman. Stay away from this man he is the devil

I recommend that nobody goes to this doctor. The staff is extremely rude and he has no compassion for his patients. He prescribed me to the wrong medication and got mad at me when I said it was not helping. He does not care at all about your well being.

Awful doctor he has a bad temper and made my mother cry. He screams at his patients.

Dr. Baney has been my doctor for almost 10 years now and He has helped me with a lot through the years. He’s also my grandmas doctor so he knows our family history very well and always takes the extra time to ask about me knowing what I struggle with. He has helped me a lot through my recovery! I won’t change doctors

Excellent, but as of 3/30/20, I find him in the Hamburg Medical practice under Tower Health.

I have never given a poor rating to anything before, as I tend to be very positive. However, I would never go back to Philip J. Baney. I was a patient in this practice and my regular provider was unavailable. I had to see a doctor quickly and he had availability. I was appalled at his lack of bedside manner, his self importance in his delivery to me and the fact that because he had to do a bit of flushing out of my ears, he charged me for an in house operation. While I have excellent insurance and they paid the several hundred dollar bill for his using an instrument with water to take care of my problem, I was appalled. I also did not appreciate the foolish stories of other patients' issues when he was working in the inner city. I will not return to him. Love Dr Baney. Tells it like it is and is very caring.

This guy is about as personable as a paper bag, not to mention seems like you are a pain in his butt when you come to visit him... he is the reason I am leaving Northern Berks.

Dr Barney is very caring and personable. He takes his time with you and answers your questions. He has been also wonderful in answering questions through the "My Chart" application and has sent helpful information as promised every time. He doesn't make you take extra testing that is not needed. As a nurse, I find he is a very nice and intelligent doctor, up to date with health trends and procedures.
