Iv'e been with you for over 18 years now!! I am very happy with the care Dr sheikh gives me. There is always a smile on his face, and he is always concerned about me. I trust him with my health! He evan cuts up with me, and we goggle! And if he can't help me with a condition...He always finds a good specialist for me to go to. Thank you, Ms. GinaJohns

Good Dr that listens to his patients and goes above and beyond to help you get the care you need, whether that is squeezing you in to discuss test results when he is already busy, staying a little late to go over test results in person the same day or calling the pharmacy to make sure you’ll be able to get your medications when your appointments run late.

I've heard of this doctor before but have never had the pleasure of meeting him, until now. He has a quiet, calming, professional demeanor. He is thorough and doesn't rush my visits. I like that he does follow up appointments to go over lab results, tests and visits with other health care professionals. It is refreshing to have those lab results explained and to ask questions if I have any. I agree with David, another reviewer, in that Dr. Sheikh makes me feel like my well-being is the most important thing in the world. His office is kept at a comfortable temperature and I am not uncomfortably cold as I have always been in the other offices. Appointments are able to be made in a timely manner and my appointments have been on time. Couldn't be happier with Dr. Rahat Sheikh.

During my last visit, I told Dr. Sheikh that I wanted to stop taking one of my medications because I was unhappy with the lack of results. He suggested a new one in it's place. Four days of getting the runaround from the pharmacy and staff, his nurse called me back and says Dr. Sheikh denies ever prescribing me this particular medication. Again, this took four days, and is factually incorrect. I don't know if he's just overworked or what, but this doesn't instill confidence. I won't be paying for another visit just because "he couldn't find it in his notes." Highly unprofessional behavior from someone I'm trusting to manage my health. This is the first time I've ever had to start the process of looking into a new primary care provider simply because the last one couldn't or wouldn't communicate properly with a patient. I'm baffled.

Made referrals suppose I should be happy but I felt dismissed and unheard. Dictated while I was trying to discuss with him my health concerns.

I have never been disappointed in dr sheikh, always has my health foremost in his mind, was the same with grandchildren, I trust him immensely.Thankyou Dr.Sheikh

I have had Dr Sheikh as my primary Dr. For 4 or 5 years. He is very easy to talk to, very caring. I am 70 years old and have never really trusted too many people. He has taken excellent care of me and any issues that have ever came up. Him and his staff deserve a 5 star rating from me.

Dr. Sheikh is very personable and really cares about his patients. He takes the time to talk with you about any concerns.

My daughters both have recently started seeing Dr. Sheikh. He listens to my concerns at the same time making them feel comfortable. After our second visit my 3 year old wants to be Dr Sheikh when she grows up. I am completely happy with the care they received. Thank you Dr. Sheikh!

I have gone to Dr. Sheikh for years. I've had a health issue a year ago and it requires continual check at Northwestern Hospital. If something happens to me that could cause an issue he always gets me right in. The most important thing to me is I like him as a person.

Very polite and to the point! In and out very fast! Great service! Great doctor! Great staff! Highly recommend!

Very good experience he knew just what was wrong since my treatment elsewhere wasn't fixing my issues . Got my meds right on track and I'm already seeing a difference. I'm glad I found a new doctor for me. Thanks

I have been having a lot of issues and he has helped. I do wish he would do steroid medication. I did go to ambucare for years , I tried Drs. In Paris off and on. The Drs at ambucare almost always did steroids and I always felt great for 2 to 3 months. Having spinal stenosis, rhuematoid , osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, I felt good and enjoyed life. Ambucare, no longer took people as patients long term. Drs. Sometimes feel that steroids could hurt you . But, pain and hurting hurt us more. It takes so much more medication or over the counter medication. Pain and hurting when I open my eyes in the morning is not my choice. I also wish all Drs. Would Do MRI'S before they try to treat people for pain or depression. Spinal stenosis is extremely painful. I had a crushed spinal injury and I was not treated or looked into for years. This was no Dr. Sheikh. Even pain management treats for pain before MRI IS DONE THIS FLAW IN MEDICINE IS DUE TO INSURANCE. OR THEY SEND PEOPLE TO PHYSICAL THERAPY. BEFORE, They know if a injury is causing the pain. I went through 8 years of TERRIBLE pain my spine sitting on my spinal cord. Dr Sheikh I am very happy with but I am not with how insurance company's run the health of the people they insure. I have been having a lot of issues and he has helped. I've been a patient of Dr. Sheikh for some years now, and I've always been satisfied with his work, except this last visit, I went in to see Dr Sheikh because my right foot was in a lot of pain, I went and had x-ray done and when I got back with him he said nothing was broken and told me to stay off of it as much as possible, and sent me home, I was a bit disappointed, if it still hurts in 2 weeks I will go back. Very connected with his patients and the staff is absolutely fantastic !!!!!

Always great, he even called me before my appointment to ask me some quick questions to make sure nothing else was wrong with me.

Dr. Sheikh treated me very very well. My very first time with him I felt very comfortable and feel like I am in wonderful caring hands. The follow-up visit was very informative about my mishap and how to better take care of further issues if any. I felt very comfortable talking with Dr. Sheikh and always have. I feel he truly listens to me about my health questions and issues. That is important to me. Dr Sheikh had saved my life when I had serious heart problems and I will always be grateful to him. We need more doctors like him in our clinic. He is one of our best!

Dr. Sheikh really cares about his patients.

Got called to go in exactly at the scheduled time. Short time waiting. Dr listened and seemed concerned. Gave his recommendations and got prescription that was needed and was in and out.

I want to thank you for getting me in yesterday and then calling me personally to give me my test results and to check on me, you don't really hear that now days normally the doctor has his nurse call and check on their patients but not Dr Sheikh

Dr. Sheikh has been my doctor since I was a child and here i am 33 years old now. I ask myself where has the time gone? To me doctor sheikh is more then just a doctor he is basically like family i mean i have had him as my doctor for over 20 years now so you don't have a doctor as long as I've had mine without trusting him to be a good caregiver and I can say i trust that doctor sheikh looks out for my best intetest at heart. So if your wanting a good doctor and looking for someone who isn't just a doctor someone that is also a friend if must say so myself then i would say doctor sheikh is the one for you to provide you with the best care when it comes to trusting someone with the propper health care choice in your life. By far the best Dr. I’ve ever had!

We had Dr.Sheikh for over 10 year's always have treated us well and don't want 3go to anyone else.

I've had alot going on from high blood pressure to stomach pains as well as shoulder pain and anxiety issues. Dr. Sheikh has been very helpful and patient with me.
