This Doctor is a total hack. I would not trust this guy at all. The reason for my visit to him is that I had a torn distal bicep tendon. After the doctor refused to describe the surgery in detail, he had me go to You tube to watch a video on the surgery, which was very informative. Unfortunately for Dr. Gokhale, the surgery he did on my bicep was botched by leaving leaving the tendon too long and failed to do the correct trimming and attachment of the tendon which now causes my bicep to be dramatically higher than the other side. This causes my bicep to cramp whenever I attempt to pick something up. Also, the incision he left on my arm is very unattractive. It is a zig zap pattern. He actually drew this pattern on my arm pre surgery. I do appreciate the fact that he had me watch a video of the correct procedure, which allowed me to see that mine was done horribly wrong. Great caring doctor that exudes intelligence, I was immediately relieved with his diagnosis and treatment,

I injured my knee playing tennis in 2011 and randomly called Dr. Gokhale. He repaired the torn meniscus at that time. In 2014, my x-rays showed I was bone on bone, but rather than push surgery, he treated me with a gel injection (which was suppose to last possibly 18 months). I had an injection in my other knee in 2016. I"ve been playing tennis 3-4 times a week during this time period and until two months ago (it's now 2018) my knees were pain free. I just had another injection in the first knee - which is not having the best results. Since my x-rays now show further damage, I'm considering a knee replacement. Dr. Gokhale is alway very professional and truly gives me the feeling that he genuinely cares about my health. Update - it is now 2021. It took awhile (about at 10 days) for one of my knees to be pain-free after the 2018 injection. I was seriously considering surgery and called the office to make an appointment...but then both knees started feeling fine so I cancelled that appointment. I'm still pain free in my right knee (although according to my x-rays there's been more deterioration in both knees. My left knee has been hurting for about 3 weeks so I just saw the doc again today. One of the aspects I truly like about Dr. Gokhale is that he still is NOT pushing for surgery and says that I seem to have a great success with the gel injections - so I'm schedule for another round of those. At nearly 72 years old, we'll see how long I can continue with the injections ... and get back to playing tennis after isolating for a year b/c of Covid! He gave back my life. Seen many doctors but doesn't feel as better as I am now for only two visits and few therapist from dmg in Bolingbrook. You are an angel, please be healthy so you can help more people.

I felt he was very much concerned with figuring out what is wrong with my shoulders. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

Dr.Gokhale did total replacements on both my knee's and have two years on my left and Year plus on my right and I feel great with zero pain and can do anything I want including 600 lb leg presses!???? Prior to surgery couldn't do anything and was in constant pain. Dr.Gokhale is professional yet very personable and kind and can't thank him enough for getting me back to life!!! I have personally had 3 surgeries and multiple visits with dr. Gokhale. I could not be more happy! I appreciate that he never seems rushed and listens to concerns and makes you feel involved in any treatment plans. Highly Recommend
