She's always been really nice and kind!

Went there yesterday. Spent more time waiting than actually speaking with medical professionals. I’m trying to find a PCP or a doctor or a nurse practitioner I can build a relationship with and be a return customer too … Bedside manner was lacking. She made silly remarks that proved she didn’t prepare for the meeting ahead of time. Maybe I caught her on a bad day, but I’ve been having a bad month after I had emergency surgery that ruined my holiday plans. And now I’m trying to do the right thing and find a PCP. There was a profound lack of compassion during the appointment and she didn’t pass the vibe check.

Good Doctor

Great Experience, expected the wait especially when there is a bunch of patients in the waiting area and the COVID issues still running around. Had a slight glitch with getting my labs ordered (Reason for the 4 star) but taken care of rather quickly and easily. All doctors have a huge job on their hands now that we are in the post COVID-19 phase and I thank you Dr. Krishnan for keeping me safe and healthy……. I were meet with kindness and respect. My questions and concerns were answered. I'm confidence I'm being given great care.

I am very pleased with Dr. Krishnan. She is a very caring person. She explained everything that is going on with my infection. You don't have to wait. My appt. was at 11 and that was when I was seen. Each time I have been seen on time. Her nurse is very pleasant and helpful. The staff are very pleasant and friendly. They make sure your appt. works for you. They all get an A+ from me. I saw Dr. Krishna for a bone infection in one of my toes. After taking the antibiotic she prescribed, the infection is gone. I found her to be a very caring doctor who listens. The women at the front window, I found to be very helpful in my getting to see the doctor quicker than I could on the phone. Great experience.

I saw Dr. Krishnan for literally 5 mins (brought my own lab results), she asked me 5 questions and presented her diagnosis. Total charge: $491. The office assistant took my insurance ID card when I checked in and never returned it. Not pleased with my overall experience.

I'm very happy with her service, she helped me when I was hospitalized with an infection and was able to treat it very effectively

She is a professional and she has helped me in my journey with Fibro and other issues, previous lymes, EB, etc.

It doesn't matter if you show up an hour early, you'll still wait another whole hour to be seen. Tip: Do something drastic to get the attention of the lady in the front desk to check in...

The receptionist has the worst attitude I've ever seen. I got blood work done and they never called me with the results. When I call and ask for the results they just ask for my number and say they will call me back. So frustrating. Krishnan was nice but all she did was look up what vaccines I needed on the internet then gave me the vaccinations. Also they didn't work with my insurance so it was basically the worst. I've been going to Dr. Krishnan for about 5 yrs now. I've seen her at her office in Leonardtown, the Bean Center and at the hospital. I saw her initially as a specialist but liked her so much I continued my regular checkups with her as my PCP. Unsure why the grades are so low here! I've never had a bad experience. She always takes the time to explain in detail what she believes the issue to be regardless of how busy the office is and is diligent in follow-ups. Bravo Dr. Krishnan! Thank you

I was called into the exam room 25 minutes AFTER my appointment time. I learned that I had not brought the proper records because the staff never told me to; they also misinformed me of the cost of the visit when I made the appointment. I then waited another 30 minutes to see the doctor. She knew I was unhappy with her lateness (55 mins late) and asked me about it but was dismissive. I saw her for 3 mins. Over an hour late for 3 minutes! And she didn't care. RIDICULOUS, Staff to Doctor!

I was admitted to St. Mary's Hospital in late September 2012 for an obvious localized infection around an intrathecal pain pump (implanted in my back) and in both feet and legs. Dr. Rakhi Krishnan was a member of my team assigned to serve as the infectious disease specialist. She not only failed to correctly diagnose the problem, each time she visited me she asked me why I had been admitted into the hospital, discontinued the I.V. Vancomycin without informing me (which I had been receiving for several days to combat the infection), and signed off on my release from the hospital. One week later after my back erupted in blisters for the second time, Georgetown University Hospital performed emergency surgery to remove the pain pump which was surrounded by pockets of sepsis. I now have a new PICC line which will deliver I.V. Vancomycin for at least another month. As for Dr. Krishnan, she is rude, abrupt, and obviously incompetent in diagnosing infections related to implanted devices. If you are suffering from an infection, I highly recommend seeking treatment from either Dr. Robert Holman in Arlington, VA (my personal favorite) or Dr. Shruthi Bellapu out of Georgetown University Hospital who is also an outstanding and compassionate infectious disease doctor. Ultimately, I recommend you always listen to your intuition, become informed of your rights as a patient, and demand information related to your condition and explanations of decisions your doctors make regarding your medical care. Doctors are human and many of them are misinformed and make mistakes that can be life threatening.
