Dr. Ralph Rodney Round

I have seen Dr. Round for many years. He is an excellent physician. He is kind and very knowledgeable.

No matter how book smart one is, it is impossible to be a good doctor when you refuse to actually listen to patients. Doing your job requires you to get information and use it in working with people and Dr Round do not seem willing or able to do this. I would recommend seeking out a better doctor.

Besides being the human form of a neurology medical textbook, he is also a sincerely nice person. I have seen neurologists all over the world, and he is one of the best! AND, the front office is polite and they return your call!!! It makes such a difference!

I love the staff completely and I don't ever want to see another Dr. besides Dr. Round! He's amazing and makes me feel comfortable and sane when my brain and seizures make me feel the opposite. Love this place and would recommend to anyone in need.

Dr Round is an outstanding doctor. He really cares about his patients and makes a big effort to improve their medical condition and their quality of life. The staff at the front desk are really nice and easy to work with.

I have MS since 1979 and moved to Denver in 2007. Have been a patient of Dr Round since 2015, and he has taken over my case perfectly. He has compassion and knowledge, I know this from many Dr appointments. He cares

Says here he is accepting new patients, but his office says he is not

Dr. Round was my neurologist in Denver. I have moved and I miss him a lot. He is so nice, professional, and easy to talk to. I have never met another neurologist like him. He is the best.

Great doctor - listens to his patients and really cares

This is also not a review of Dr. Round, but more of a note to him about his phone staff. I called in for my wife and made an appointment for 3 months out. We recently moved to Colorado and have been searching for a good neurologist as she has a tumor in her spinal cord and it's causing her tons of pain and numbing. We sort of understand that it's difficult to get into Doctor's and figured we would wait. I asked to be put on a cancellation list so we might be able to get in sooner. Never got a call for that. We had something come up and had to cancel the appointment last minute unfortunately so I called in to let them know. The lady was so rude. She offered to reschedule for another 3 months away. I told her not to worry about it and that we would have to find somewhere else as we couldn't wait that long and I told her i understand. She then said the wait is 3 months because people cancel their appointments last minute and hung up on me. Whoever she is hopefully reads this and understands that they aren't serving a hamburger to someone at a drive through, but dealing with life and death for people. Dr. Round is a real pro - he's been informative, responsive and compassionate in his dealings with our family. All office staff has been patient and helpful, as well. We are grateful.

This review is many many years overdue. My son was born in December of 1991 and during the course of my labor I suffered a subdural hematoma. I was 24 at the time and my now ex husband and I were alone and terrified in Denver with a brand new baby that I was too ill to care for. Dr. Round was my neurologist and he made me feel like his biggest priority. On top of being a highly skilled neurologist he is a genuinely kind and compassionate human. Dr. Round treated my subdural hematoma as well as my emotional well being. He made me feel like I wasn't quite so alone during a very frightening time in my life. Because of the care and concern provided by Dr. Round so many years ago I'm living my best life and I'm happy and healthy with no residual effects of the hematoma. I had been to several Specialists during a 3 year time period, and to no avail. Another Specialist recommended Dr. Round. Dr. Round took the time to compile all my records from all previous doctors, studied them all, added more tests and images and came up with a diagnosis. He also had me see another doctor at UHC for a second opinion. I recommend Dr. Ralph Round to family and friends.

During my 1st appt. with Dr. Round he could sense that I was very frustrated with chronic migraines and the various medications I had tried. I was quite literally at the end of my rope. I am so glad that something led me to him because he said that the next step could change my life. My life has changed drastically! I feel great the majority of the time now as opposed to very little of the time. He is confident in his work, knowledgeable and compassionate. He also makes my husband feel welcome!

I’m so grateful a friend told me about Dr. Round and explained that whatever wait might be necessary for an appointment would absolutely be worth it! He was considerate and attentive. His concern for me, how he took the time to understand me, and his ability make me understand my condition are most remarkable! The welcoming professionalism of his staff perfectly complements who he is and how he cares for his patients. I heartily recommend Dr. Ralph Round!

This is not a review of Dr. Round. This is a massive condemnation of this phone answering staff, who, when I had no sooner asked to make an appointment, I was immediately asked for what insurance I have, what company and more. It was like being frisked. The whole issue was could I pay, not what sort of help did I need, was I having a neurological problem, etc, etc. I will not patronize a company that treats its customers like criminals. Always, always a pleasure to go to my appts!. Dr. Round does not mind if one asks questions. He is thorough! I wouldn't think of having a different neuro physician. (EVER) lol I feel he is the best! The staff is also warm and engaging...what else can I say? lol

I simply adore Dr. Round. He is extremely knowledgable and respected in his field. AND. His bedside manner, compassion, honesty, and non-drama demeanor tie it all together beautifully. I have a pretty frightening prognosis for someone of age 40. But in his presence. I feel able to handle it without alarm and step by step, alongside him, continue to live the best life I can while I can. It is extremely amazing to have someone in my life who understands me in this unique way and whose character makes me feel comfortable enough to always be honest and transparent about how I am doing and what is transpiring as my brain shifts. Very knowledgeable doctor and has a great bed side manner. I believe he was thorough in trying to determine my issue. I would definitely recommend this doctor for any nerve specific issues.

I could not be happier to have found Dr. Round. My health concerns are not very common but Dr. Round was extremely knowledgable, helpful, and caring. He made me feel like I was his only patient and he had all the time in the world to help me. My husband waited for me in the waiting room and at the end of my visit, Dr. Round asked if he could meet my husband since we would all be working as a team. I was flooded with relief after my visit and feel like at last, I am in good hands. Thank you Dr.!

Dr Round is both professional & personable, He meets with patients on schedule so neither of us has wasted time.

Dr. Round is a wonderful, intelligent doctor. He is honest and his botox treatments have worked wonders on my headaches.

I have been with Dr. Round for many years. I'm one of his many MS patients. I would recommend him in a heartbeat. I have nothing but respect for this Doctor. He has a wonderful bedside manner. I had been referred to Dr. Ralph Round, as I have been experiencing increasing migraines, despite various treatments. On the day of my appointment, which I had made over a month prior, I was suffering from a migraine and waited to take my medication (so the doctor could hopefully help me further). I had called the office to let them know I would be about 10 minutes late and mentioned that I was feeling miserable. Upon arrival, 10 minutes late, they cancelled my appointment and said I had to reschedule!! They had a lobby full of waiting patients and I was new. So, I had to find their office, and I hoped for a little understanding. The front office staff said they asked the doctor and HE asked me to come back another day. It was a complete SLAP in the face and extremely unprofessional. I couldn't believe that they would cancel the appointment, when I desperately needed to see the doctor that day! So, my migraine went from horrible to unbearable, thanks to the uncaring Dr. Round. I have never experienced anything this insulting by a medical professional.
