lost 175 lbs and he didn't even notice, not sure he gives a damn

Thankfully, I have been relatively healthy my entire life. I started doctoring with Ram Shetty about 15 - 20 years ago; I don't remember exactly - it was before they moved to the office they are in now. I have been 100% pleased with the personal attention and professional care received from both Ram Shetty and Julia Ramberg, and the rest of their staff.

A new nurse they hired Sara (Phillips?) She tells our small community, (small county actually) all about patient records, their illnesses, their medications and if it is a narcotic a patient needs she has her husband and his ex wife texting these people wanting their medications. Dr R Shetty today's date 3.15.20 she's been there half a year hasn't she signed HIPA, hasn't she been told do not disclose a patient's medical record to STRANGERS and she proceeds to get their phone number from said record and her husband and his ex wife house these people for their meds. SMDH.. you've lost 3 patients you'll lose more due to this nurse. But you'll gain that all back in lawsuits.

I couldn’t be happier with a doctor than I am with Dr. Shetty. I’ve been with him for over 4 yrs and he’s treated me with every medical condition that I have and since I’m an older patient my medical needs are changing. If I get slack and don’t have an order followed up on, Dr. Shetty lets me know it. He makes sure I’m up on my mammograms, blood work and other work I need such as yearly exams/blood work/X-rays etc. that I will need as I get older. He’s very kind patient and caring. His staff couldn’t be any more professional yet caring and supportive as they are. The whole office was there and supported me when my husband passed away a year ago. I don’t think there’s a better Dr. in the area. If Dr. Shetty can’t completely help me he’s referred me to specialist that can. He doesn’t just treat the symptoms, he finds the cause. He makes sure I’m as healthy as God wants me to be but I have to do my part and follow his directions. I hope he doesn’t retire from his practice before I retire from this world. I’ve never seen a better Dr. since I’ve moved to the area. He’s kind, courteous and professional. He listens to my medical complaints, asks the right questions to find a cause and treats the cause not just the symptoms. No matter how busy the office is I never feel rushed like I’m just another number. As patients leave the exam room after seeing him you don’t hear them grumble and complain. Sure there’s going to be unhappy ones but “you can’t please all the people all the time”.

I just moved to the area from Texas. I've been seeing a pain management doctor in Texas for almost 4 months making progress with a medial branch block procedure, but my insurance requested 1 more MBB before we moved on with an RFA (burning the nerves in my facet joints). When I moved here I was told I had to find a primary care physician who would then refer me to a pain management doctor in the area. Apparently that's the only way I could get in to see a pain management doctor to finish my treatment. I went in to see "Dr. Shetty" this afternoon and felt more disrespected than I ever have been in my whole life. I filled out my new patient forms and took them up to the receptionist. She looked over my paperwork, looked at the part where I had listed my prescriptions (one of which is a narcotic pain killer), and told me she'll be right back. She came back a minute later and said "there's nothing we can do for you here." I understand there are people who abuse these medications, but there are also people who are in actual pain and need help. For this cowardly "Doctor" refusing to see somebody without even examining them is unprofessional and completely disrespectful. I'm sure this so called "Doctor" can help you with the *sniffles* or a little cough, but if you actually have something wrong with you I would recommend going elsewhere. Most disrespected I've ever been in my whole life. Treated like a junkie. I've been seeing a pain management Doctor in Texas and just moved here. Was told I had to find a primary care physician for a referral to a pain management Doctor here. When the receptionist saw what medication I was preceibed, she went to the back the talk to Dr. Shetty. She came back and told me there was nothing they could do for me. I didn't even see the Doctor.

Dr. Shetty actually knows who I am when I walk in and my history. He is attentive and genuine when listening and talking about my health issues. Been with him for 15 years and plan on staying with him another 15.
