We were impressed with our first visit . Dr Culp and staff were great! We hope as the treatment and tests progress we will continue to be impressed.
He is no doctor heâs a money grabber! He find in favor of the company for workers comp cases. Told me I didnât have a disease but another doctor said I did. Now this disease has ravaged my body entirely. CRPS is real and he lied! Would never recommend this doctor because your life and future are worth more to me as you the stranger than CULP! He doesnât care about you or healthcare rules.
A wonderful experience and very compassionate and professional!

Having a carpal tunnel release in both of my hands was the best decision I have ever made. The care received before, during and after surgery was excellent! I would recommend Dr. Culp and his staff to anyone suffering from carpal tunnel.
Dr Randall W Culp ,is an excellent surgeon. Just finished my two week checkup after extensive carpal tunnel. Incision is healed, doing my hand exercises and no pain. Dr Culp is very personable , explains surgery in detail and very professional , along with his staff!!!!! ????
Dr. Culp is a great doctor. And his staff are very friendly and helpful. Dr. Culp takes the time to listen to what you have to say. He did my carpal tunnel release. I’m happy with the results and would recommend him to anyone,
Dr Culp is an outstanding surgeon. Went to a med express to have a broken finger set. Unfortunately, it was much more than a broken finger and required surgery and rotation of the finger in order for me to make a fist and get full mobility in my hand. It’s been six weeks since surgery and I am almost 100 percent. Dr Culp and his therapists are professional and are very knowledgeable in their respective fields. Everyone was super nice. The team made sure I didn’t set and wait. Everything run smoothly.
Dr Culp is a very knowledgeable dr, this is my second surgery with him, I would not change a thing.
Had alot going on with my hand and couldn't even bend my fingers. DR. CULP helped me alot.
The man who goes above and beyond to help his patients! He is a great surgeon. I thought my finger was a lost cause . But he helped me keep it .
Dr. Culp and his staff are true professional people. They do not rush through any part of the visit and Dr. Culp is extremely knowledgeable in his field. I would recommend him to anyone needing his services.
Dr.culp has helped both my husband and myself for many years, with difficult cases that other doctors couldn't fix. We travel almost 2 hours to go to him...wouldn't use another hand surgeon. He's the best, we trust him completely!!

Best orthopedic Doctor ever!
I had surgery on my right wrist in June of 2021 performed by Dr Culp of the Phila. Hand and Shoulder Center in their Wilkes Barre facility. The surgery went well as did the follow up and subsequent therapy. Dr Culp and the staff conducted themselves professionally during each visit and were helpful in getting me back to normalcy after the surgery. Dr. Culp and his staff, especially Audra, were extremely forthcoming with the information I needed to make proper decisions. Always quick to make sure I was taken care of. Made me feel like I was visiting a friend, not a Dr.’s office. Just wonderful people all around
Dr. Culp is an excellent surgeon. I had a total wrist replacement. I was pain free after two days, and released from his care after 8 weeks to resume normal activities. I am planning on having the other wrist done in the near future. Also the ladies at the rehab center are the best, really take time to explain your treatment. As a professional pianist & teacher, I trust the care of my wrists, hands and fingers to no one else. Dr. Culp is extremely thorough and proactive with treatment.
Doctor Culp is a very good doctor. He and his team explained what would happen and after care well, they also made me feel comfortable and eased my anxiety.
I had stage 4 arthritis in both my hands that required surgery. I was in such pain and it was impacting normal everyday activities as well as my job. Dr Culp in short gave me my life back. I recently underwent surgery to correct a problem with my dominant hand. From my initial consult with Dr. Randall Culp to the actual procedure that was performed, I could not have been more pleased. Besides the people I know who have been patients of Dr. Culp, you could not find a more outstanding hand surgeon. After meeting and discussing my problem with him, I left with clarity, confidence, and relief after he explained everything clearly and answered all my questions. The meticulousness with which he runs his office speaks for itself. Once I signed into the surgery center, I was greeted by a very professional and personable support staff. His exceptional nurses and nurse anesthetists are very skilled, reassuring, and committed to your safety and comfort. I was obviously in excellent hands from start to finish. Fantastic Doctor. Highly recommend Dr. Culp. Knows his stuff.
On my initial visit, I found Dr Culp & staff to be very friendly, thorough and efficient. Thank You All.
Dr. Culp is second to none. It’s a rare occurrence to be under the care of a competent surgeon. His staff mirrors his work ethic. I am very grateful to have been directed to his care!
Doctor Culp recognized my torn TFCC immediately, using the same MRI that a previous 'wrist specialist' had reviewed and saw 'nothing'. He was also able to show signs of the tear in an x-ray, which 2 previous 'wrist specialists' had not seen. He was recommended by an occupational therapist at another practice! Dr. Culp is an excellent Dr. so glad he was recommended to me. He did my carpal tunnel surgery and a year later he did elbow surgery. Everything turned out well. Haven’t had a problem since. I would highly recommend his office. His office staff goes above and beyond to make you comfortable.

The office staff was both helpful and knowledgeable. The PA was kind, thorough and encouraging. The X-ray technician was professional and interested in me as a patient and my concerns. Dr. Culp was brilliant! Overall a twelve out of ten medical experience.

First Class!!!
I was very pleased with his professionalism and timely decisions and service. Glad to have found such an experienced provider to address my immediate healthcare needs.
Absolutely wonderful doctor, caring, competent, I really felt he was doing his very best for me
A great Dr indeed!!!!This guy(Dr. Culp) is one of the Top Doctors in all the world!!!
Had my surgery scheduled for 11 am. I am diabetic and missing breakfast was an issue but I felt I could last to 11 am. I was checked in and told they were running behind (what's new), there was a patient in the operating room and one waiting and I would be next. No time limit given. At 12:30 I indicated I was light headed because my blood sugar was falling and they checked my glucose reading and it was very low. I asked how much longer? There was a patient in the operating room and now there was two ahead of me. Nobody had come in or out for the 1 1/2 hours I had been waiting. The nurse said it might be another 2 - 2 1/2 hours. They offered me a glucose IV which I refused and simply left. Terrible service, over booking is common in medical matters and I understand the doctor cannot always estimate the amount of time it takes to complete a procedure but this experience was unacceptable. When you go to see Dr Culp at his office your lucky to get 3 - 4 minutes of his time.

Dr Culp preformed many surgeries on both my hands and did them well! I would recommend this dr to anyone, he has a great bedside manner and is very caring. Dr Culp is very knowledgeable when no one else could help me!
Dr Culp is a amazing surgeon. I was a very complicated problem. I feel at work & did extensive damage to my left wrist. Dr Culp got me function with my wrist. Dr Culp truly cares about his patients.
I had a ligament tear in my wrist. I needed a wrist reconstruction (re-attach the lunate-scaphoid joint). Most orthopedic hand surgeons were iffy about full recovery but Dr Culp had a procedure that he developed which has turned out excellent. I would say that Dr Culp is top in his field and has given me a chance to play golf and surf again! Thank you!!
My hand/ fingers issue is sometimes called Trigger finger. A Dupuytren's Contracture Injection was needed to correct my 2 fingers. I could not straighten my picky and ring finger on my dominant hand. It’s been bothering me for years. The total process takes 3 visits. The first for an evaluation which was about an hour total. Because they have to measure how bent/ curled your figures are. Next visit measuring again and a 5 second injection, easy. Visit 3, injection and manipulation went fast

dr.culp over the years has had to spend an awful lot of time with me,as I came to him with relatively complex issues-he did not create my problem, rather,he took on another physicians inability to fix my problems.things go wrong, and it's not his fault if I present with wrist problems, then develop issues that go beyond the limits and scope of my initial surgeries. It is not important how many surgeries I've had, what is important is that dr.culp stuck with me,twenty years later, still helping me.

I had 3 unsuccessful surgeries & Dr Culp was recommended to fix my issues using SORL procedure ( I drove 140 miles round trip/visit). The procedure he performed was NOT successful and now he wants to try another( why didn't he do this procedure instead of SORL?). He is very polite & professional but spent little time with me. Plus did not always answer all my questions. He was always in a hurry during Appointments. Very disappointed since he came highly recommended. His P.A. was excellent

Had minor pain in right wrist which is manageable but I'd like to understand the issue and fix IF necessary. He's very personable but spent little time explaining or allowing for questions. His recommendation for a minor complaint...surgery of course! I had to ask the recovery time 12 weeks! He said well you'll have to be on light duty but there is no light duty where I work. I imagine if I needed major surgery this guy would be great but I'm not getting surgery I don't need at this time.

His administrative staff have the warmth of civil servants. The colleague who reviewed the surgery told me it would be a small incision in the palm of my hand and drew me a picture. What was under the bandage was nothing like what was explained. They didn't set any expectations about how much time I'd need to recover, causing me a scramble at work and with my benefits. They wouldn't process my short-term disability insurance paperwork without me pre-paying $10 - which is basically EXTORTION.

Dr Culp is clearly a very skilled surgeon. The surgery that I had is one that not all MDs are trained to do. It resulted in a shorter recovery time with excellent results. I had my surgery 5 months ago and I have excellent strength and range of motion and no pain

Saw Dr. Culp for 5 minutes - 3 on 1st visit, 2 on 2nd. He has a VERY busy office, and I get that it takes volume to pay for malpractice insurance. My low review is that I don't feel he really saw me. I didn't have much wrong - went at the urging of my GP. Wish he'd been more direct about the condition (or non-condition) & given more practical recommendations which I found on the internet. Didn't buy the expensive night braces he proposed as I feel he didn't even read chart, or care.
I have had two procedures for work-related damage to each hand. Dr. Culp's results have been as good as I could expect, and better than an earlier attempt by the orthopedist recommended by Workman's Comp. Dr. Culp sees patients, does surgery, develops techniques, teaches other orthopedists, and lectures. His reputation is second to none and well-deserved.
