Dr. Rebecca Kasenge

Dr. Kasenge is by far the best doctor I have ever had. She is caring and knows her patients well; I have never felt as if I was simply a number or next on the list. She always takes time, and yet there’s never a long wait to see her. Always wanting to get to the bottom of issues, she often asks probing questions in order to ferret out possible solutions and reasons for health problems. I am beyond grateful to be under her care. In addition, her whole staff exhibits the same kind of care, kindness and helpfulness.

I have been seeing Dr. Kasenge for many years. She has a great bedside manner, and is always thorough.

She does listen and is thorough. However, when I first saw her she told me she only works her schedule and be prepared to see someone else if she is not available. I had no issue with seeing someone else but she cancelled my annual physical and refused to reschedule. until the following year. Even when I told the office I had multiple issues to discuss and really need my appointment. I was told I can get a sick appointment for something specific but not a physical to go over my health as a whole. I only went to her for my annual physical once a year even though I have multiple health issues, so this was not an instance of having seen her and being up-to-date on my health. She did a similar thing to my daughter. My daughter had to cancel and she refused to reschedule until the following year.

Dr. Kasenge is patient, inquisitive, knowledgeable, and a great communicator. As her patient I feel heard and like a valued part of my own health care team, instead of just taking "doctors orders." Since coming into her care, some of my chronic health issues have taken their first turn for the better. Amazing. Unexpected! Highly recommend.
