The best doctor I have ever been treated by. Other doctors made my pain worse. And she fixed me and gave me a life again. God bless her forever!!

I think she is a wonderful doctor. I was in bed for one year and she helped me to walk again. Amazingly keeps up with my back to ensure my quality of life. I get excellent and am comfortable with my office visits and she is always open to discuss my concerns and fears . I feel free to discuss any problem I am having.

I had seen Dr. Varela as a pain management doctor but she said she couldn't prescribe me medications without a recent MRI. My MRI had been 4 years old. I jumped through all the insurance hoops to get an MRI which they rejected of course until I first received physical therapy. After a few PT visits, my MRI had been approved. Back to see Dr. Varela and was then told she doesn't prescribe these medications and offered to give me an epidural shot. A liar and a complete waste of time. 2 hr wait.
