This was the best and most rewarding surgery I've ever undergone. Had a cataract removed from my right eye and the results were so spectacular that I can't wait to do the other eye. Dr. Walker and her staff are fantastic at what they do. Excellent process from beginning to end with clear and concise directions to follow. This is life changing surgery and Dr. Walker is the best in her field.

Dr. Walker's cataract surgery left me quite disappointed. She refuses, ignores, and, strangely, blames me. When I go to another eye surgeon, I discover that I have to be scheduled to have the erroneous iol lens she implanted removed by a different eye surgeon.

I recently had cataract surgery, the right eye was done in November, and the left eye was just done yesterday. I am VERY pleased with the outcome of both eyes. The day following surgery my vision was nearly 20/20 already. Dr. Walker and her staff are polite, compassionate and highly skilled. wish I never saw her rude, and bad experience with cataract surgery

She totally dismissed me when I asked her a question regarding my disappointing results from her cataract surgery on me. She literally walked out of the room while I was in mid sentence. I am glad I found another for my second eye.

I have had both eyes treated for cataracts and I can't say enough kind words for the staff and Dr. Walker. They are so patient and kind, and very thorough with their instructions for care. From the check-in, to pre operation instructions, to the financial department, and nurses, everyone went above board to help and answer all questions I had. After my cataract surgery was not satisfactory, Dr Walker turned on me and said it was my fault. I felt so embarrassed by her temperament. I left the office and went to a different surgeon to have the other eye done, only to find out that Dr Walker had placed the wrong lens in my eye.

I've had Dr. Walker as my eye Dr.for some time now she just did caterac surgery on my left eye in April and I was surprised the surgery was done in 15 to 20 minutes no problems everything was great and I felt great she's a great Dr.and so caring along with her staff.

Their office was highly recommended by my Optometrist. They were very professional and knowledgeable. The whole procedure went very well with excellent follow up. They gave me options before proceeding with the eye surgery, which turned out very well. I would highly recommend them and their staff.

Cataract Surgery and I Stent for Glaucoma. So much thanks to Dr. Walker and her team, my eye pressures in both eyes are down and no need to use eye drops for glaucoma. I am also amazed how good my vision is after Cataract Surgery! Awesome job and very professional.

When my optometrist of 40+ years advised me to address the cataracts in my eyes, he immediately recommended that I go to see Dr. Walker. I now know why he made that recommendation. I have had the cataracts removed and now have no need for eyeglasses - and I can thank Dr. Walker for that. My experience with Dr. Walker was positive in every respect. She is an attentive physician who took great care to ensure that I understood fully what was involved and constantly checked to ensure that the procedure was progressing correctly. The secretary with short, brown hair is incredibly rude, which may prevent me from returning. Observing her mannerisms REALLY made it apparent she treats people of color differently. I am positive any type of patient survey would show this trend. I’m not surprised seeing other reviewers addressing the front staff on google.

Having just had cataract surgery performed by Dr. Walker all I can say is that it was a most positive experience., and this is coming from a guy who had many fears going into it. The entire staff at Chalfont and Fort Washington were fantastic. Dr Walker is very caring and thorough. She answered all my questions honestly and did not push me into the surgery. I originally went to Dr. Walker when I was developing blind spots in my vision and no other doctor could figure out what was happening. How lucky I was to come to this practice. Dr. Walker has preserved my vision and ten years later I am still able to work, go to school, and drive. It has taken medication and a few surgeries but, I can still see and am grateful every day. I’ve had my share of emergencies and every time the office staff made room for me to be seen. Between them, Dr. Walker and Dr. Sucheski provide total coverage for emergencies. I have been a patient of Dr. Walkers for over 15 years dealing with a severe case of Glaucoma and standard cacteracts. Dr. Walker has performed at least 3 glaucoma surgeries on my eyes as well as removed cateracts. These procedures basically has saved my sight in one eye and improved my sight in the other. The surgeries went off as scheduled and produced the expected results. Dr. Walker is the ultimate highly skilled professional medical person I have ever encountered in my 70 years. Her office is well organized and properly staffed as to provide the care and comfort of office visits. The staff is extremely professional, kind and caring helping out in every way that they can. After injuring my right eye with a nail 25 yrs ago that left me partial bind, I was extremely cautious when I found out I needed cataract surgery for my left eye. From my first appointment with Dr. Rebecca Walker, I felt at ease knowing how professional and experienced she was in treating cataracts. One of the questions asked on the first visit was am I taken Flowmax (I did not know once you start taking it your eyes will never fully dilate) Then covid-19 showed up and delayed my surgery date almost two months. My eye was so bad I could barely see. (I know it made things harder for her on my surgery day). Then my surgery day came and she did a great job! I could see so clear and all of the bright colors again on the first day! My eye sight was 20/20 before my cataract and my first post opp visit it was 20/20! Dr. Walker and her staff have treated my glaucoma for thirteen years and I am very pleased with the care and attention received for the ailment. Dr. Walker always takes the time to explain why each eye test is necessary and what the next step will be in treating the glaucoma. Recently the glaucoma has gotten to the stage where I needed surgery, as well as cataract surgery, and Dr. Walker performed the procedures. At age 65, it was my first surgery and yet I had no concerns or nervousness going into surgery. It has been a month since the surgery on my left eye and I am over-joyed with the results. My first cataract surgery....and I was concerned, after all, it is eye surgery, even though the success rate is very high. Dr. Walker was recommended by my optometrist whom I trust. I called to ask some questions about insurance and Dr. Walker and her staff were so kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I felt more at ease. The initial appointment gave me even more confidence....everyone was just as kind, patient, and knowledgeable. The surgery center in Ft Washington was spotlessly clean and the staff was friendly and efficient. All appointments from the initial one to the last were on time. My recovery is going well . It is so amazing to me that this delicate surgery can be done so quickly with no pain, inflammation, or discomfort. You must be dedicated to making sure you follow instructions for pre and post-op....staying on schedule with eye drops. Dr Walker was absolutely wonderful in treating my wife, Phyllis', cataract surgery. She was kind, patient and professional at our initial visit and explained every aspect of the surgery in great detail. The surgery went very well and the entire staff was outstanding. Very professional. She went over everything involved in the cataract surgery. They must have used a dozen instruments to examine every part of my eye. The actual surgery went very well with no pain during or after. The people at the surgery center were very friendly and very competent. Overall a good experience.

With my first visit to Dr. Walkers office, for a cataract, I knew that I was in the best of hands. The doctor explained everything that was going on with my eye and totally put me at ease. The staff were all professional and personable as well. Dr. Walker removed the cataract 2 days ago and actually called me that night to see how I was doing, unheard of today! I had my first eye done and am thrilled with the results! Looking forward to having the other eye done. In addition to Dr. Walker, her entire team has been exceptional. While I can’t recall every name, Maggie and Beth have been pleasant and professional during the exams and Nancy was fantastic with the scheduling and handling the pre op paperwork.

Dr. R. Walker’s care was fantastic. She repaired and rejuvenated both my eyes that had cataract, glaucoma and astigmatism. I see better during night driving, read signs easier, and am able to see colors as they really are. The house interior paint I always complained about being too dark are now vibrant. Had a large cataract in my right eye. Had the surgery done by Dr. Walker at the Ft. Washington office. Dr. Walker did an A-1 excellent job and by 9:00pm the same evening, my vision and clarity had returned and I was thrilled.
