Dr. Reed Locke Bartz

I've seen Dr Bartz on multiple occasions in regards to my shoulder, and his bedside manners are great. Appointment times are real appointment times, minimal wait. Not common these days to find a timely doctor with bedside manners.

Wonderful Doctor

I am so glad I was introduced to Dr. Bartz. He has done 3 successfull surgeries on me. I wouldn't use any other orthopedic doctor but him. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him to everyone!!!

There are not enough words to express my feelings for Dr. Bartz. He is so knowledgeable, caring and there for me. His staff is great also. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND him to everyone!!!

I love Loo & DR. Bartz they ROCK!!! Very informative, they answer all my questions before I have a chance to ask them. I can say they both care. Now the ladies in the front, that's a different story... MAUHAHA, ladies - just joking .They are are great too. I highly recommend Doctor Bartz and his crew!!!!!

Dr. Reed Bartz did TWO surgeries for me... My knee and shoulder. Dr. Bartz is a wonderful surgeon and did an amazing job on both surgeries! No complications at all and highly recommend!

Dr Bartz is not only a top notch orthopedic surgeon, he truly cares about each patient and has a fantastic demeanor. Highly recommend!

Dr Bartz is wonderful. I was recommended to him last year May 2022 when my son tore his ACL. He has been great every step of the way through his surgery and through his recovery. Dr Bartz always had an answered for all my worrisome questions and reassured me every time that my son would get back to walking and playing basketball. I highly recommend this office, all staff are very attentive, kind and very professional including Dr Bartz. Thank you!

Everyone at this office is super helpful! Dr Bartz is always honest, thorough, positive, and incredibly encouraging. He's open to adjustments for personal needs--home therapy instead of on-site visits. Made a painful experience better, with hope for recovery.

Dr. Bartz is the BEST!! My primary care referred me directly after I went to a different orthopedic surgeon who was very unpleasant. I'm really glad he did! I had to have surgery very quickly for ACL and meniscus reconstruction, and he got me in very quickly. He fought my insurance to get my MRI and surgery going quick and we did the surgery quickly as well. Now I'm week three post-op, able to walk in the brace and a cane (and I am no spring chicken. I am 40). He is very intelligent, explains things in detail if you want, takes great care of you, has an excellent bedside manner, is very conservative with treatment and really cares about you. I highly recommend Dr Bartz!

Dr Bartz and everyone at the clinic was wonderful. I broke my ankle and they got me in as quickly as possible. Hardly any wait time to see the doctor and he was friendly and caring. He answered all my questions, and even had someone call me to answer some questions I emailed to him that I had forgotten to ask at my appointment. Highly recommend him and this clinic.

I first tried to schedule an appointment with Dr Zhao but he was no available and needs to see a doctor soon that was close to home as my elbow was hurting a lot and I ended up seeing Dr. Bartz who diagnosed me with golfers elbow and wanted just to prescribe a diclofenac sodium cream but I insisted on the steroid shot which was painful as hell but helped a little bit. Pain came back and this time I tried to schedule the Appointment with Dr. Zhao as someone recommended him to me but the office said that since I had seen Dr Bartz before I could not see Dr. Zhao! I insisted and the lady on the phone said he would call me back after she consulted with her manager but they never called me back! I feel they violated my right honestly. I am in the process to submit a claim about this since I do not think is right they force they patients to see the doctor they want specially when we have PPO! Fortunately, I was able to find Dr. Thornton who actualy laughed about the diclofenac and used his own steroid shot technique and using a ultrasound. Something Dr. Bartz did not do. I am in awe of the people who favorably reviewed Reed Bartz because I surely didn't receive that type of treatment they received. What I received was the bum rush, no one returned my calls, and after the MRI was completed, no one, not the doctor, secretary, or assistant, called to explain the test results. Also, when I asked to speak to the good doctor I was told I couldn't, I left a message but never got a returned call. Once when I called I got a pre-opted message where you couldn't even leave a new message. If I could give zero stars I would. You live, you learn and I hope anyone reading this will take heed. Dr. Bartz is such a sweet, caring and GREAT doctor. He listens to you and truly wants to make you better. He did a total knee replacement surgery on my right knee in November and I had no problems. I now have to have the same surgery on my left knee in a month or so. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND him to everyone!!!!

BEST orthopedic doctor/surgeon I have ever had the honor of being a patient of. He is so super nice, caring, warm, welcoming & friendly. So are the staff. Just a super pleasant doctor's office all the way around. I never felt rushed. They were also kind, courteous, patient & understanding. They get your prescriptions right & called in quickly. They call you back promptly when you leave a message. They never blow you off or make you feel as if you're being a burden. Plus, he did my knee surgery...& All I can say is WOW!!! Dr Bartz cancelled 5 appointments in all on my wife. Twice she had already drove up to the office before they called and cancelled. Twice was for scheduled surgeries. The first surgery he cancelled we got all the way to the hospital, went thru admissions and paperwork, paid for surgery, and waited 20 minutes before they gave us the bad news. They then rescheduled for two days later, we asked how do they know he will be ok. They assured us he was getting better and would be fine, then cancelled again. We went to a different ortho and after one appt, we knew more about the surgery than what bartz ever mentioned, and they were able to get my wife's surgery done within one week. he does not do a good job explaining anything, and his staff struggle with organization. Now im waiting weeks for them to refund the money we paid for cancelled surgeries. Not to mention i took vacation days from work to take care of my wife that were wasted. Stay way from bartz
