My wife and I are switching from Essentia Hermantown Clinic to Essentia Cloquet Clinic which means that I have to transfer my care from Dr. Schlabach to Dr. Schenk. I wish I could stay with Dr. Schlabach, but it doesn't sense to drive from Cloquet to Hermantown to see a doctor when there is now a clinic in Cloquet. Dr. Schlabach care was great, and I will miss working with her.

The very first thing she said to me, is that she is too busy to take me on as her patient. She did not review my labs that I had done prior to my appointment. My visit was my annual (preventive care) exam. She did not do a breast exam because I had a mammogram 6 months prior. She was not friendly during my visit. She basically listed to my heart and lungs and that was about all. Not satisfied with my care.

Every time I see Dr schlabach I feel like I am the only appointment she has. I have her total attention and never feel rushed. I have a hard time finding a dr I can trust and my experience with Dr schlabach has been nothing but positive.

My experience with Dr. Renee Schlabach was the best ever ! Dr.Schlabach understood my situation and she listened to what I had to say and She was sympathetic and very Compassionate about my previous healthcare. I would recommended this doctor to a friend or family member . she is the best doctor that Essentia Health has hired.
