Horrible physian! Avoid this Dr at all costs. He has horrible bedside manner, doesn't listen to his patients, and inflicts pain when unnecessary. He tried to tell me I had a sprained thumb even though I had no injury. Ended up I had gout. He forced me to make a fist even though I showed him I couldn't. He pushed my thumb down forcefully causing extreme pain. I've never been treated so horrible by a medical professional.

Dr. Canlas is an excellent doctor. He cares about you as a patient. He makes sure you understand his diagnosis and explain different kinds of treatments. I was afraid of not find a good doctor in the Hazleton area. But thank God, I saw him.

Dr canlas is amazing he is so kind he takes his time and explains everything he makes you believe you are his only patient of the day I would highly highly recommend him although I was in severe pain when I got to see him just his mannerism made me feel a hundred times better

Last office visit was the clincher. I'm in pain and I sat waiting in the exam room for 25 minutes past my appointment time. Plus I was 10 minutes early. He flew in patronizingly calling me young lady all chipper and didn't apologize for keeping me hostage. I was not amused. Before I knew it he was gone because I felt he was hurrying with me so he could catch up. The exam room is dingy and depressing. Finding a new Ortho tomorrow

I feel that he goes out of his way to understand his patients and ensures an individual has all the facts as he discusses various treatment options.

Likely saved my life after discovering blood clots left over from an injury

Doesn't take time to adequately listen to patient concerns. Very friendly, but needs to increase the amount of time devoted to listening to his patients. I've been to many doctors for injury and this was the first experience I've had like this.
