Apparently the good doctor cannot be bothered by patients who present with difficult issues and suicidal ideations. If your issues aren’t simple he will not accept you as a patient. Look elsewhere for an office that cares.

I have been under Dr. Fonte's care for several years. I met him after 9 weeks of getting no answers from various cardiac tests and other tests trying to determine the root cause of symptoms that presented themselves as acute potentially heart related. The real cause was panic attacks and with a diagnosis and the right medication and care I was attack free within a few months. I see him 10-12 times per year. I recommend him and I would pay whatever it takes to continue as his patient.

Dr. Fonti treated my son who had many complications. He is excellent in every way--medication, caring, knowledgeable, etc.. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Fonte is overpriced and not worth the time. He treated my father for 20 years, but never actually gave him therapy. Just glorified drug check ups. My father had a mental breakdown and Dr. Fonte was genuinely surprised (the only person to be surprised) and never considered changing my father's medication before or after. How someone with such terrible people skills is a psych is beyond me. Would not recommend him, not even to my enemies.
