Richard Kang

My experience, as a patient at Core Medical & Wellness, has always been the silver lining in my darkest days of dreadful pain. Dr. Richard Kang helps me manage my neck pain that resulted from a severe and permanent injury. With his continued compassionate care, I feel hopeful and supported through my unfortunate circumstance. Dr. Kang cares about me very much, and he does everything in his power to make sure that I have quality of life. I always feel safe and comfortable whenever I undergo treatments such as cervical and lumbar injections to relieve the pain from my herniated discs. He is extremely knowledgeable, and always takes time to discuss my progress and answer all of my questions. The staff is extremely hospitable and professional. They provide peace of mind from insurance forms to arranging transportation if needed. I would definitely recommend Core Medical and Wellness to anyone in need of doctors and staff who provide the greatest care to their patients.

I am a longtime patient of Dr. Desai. For well over 10 years Dr. Jay has given me his undivided attention, never rushing my appointment or doubling up with others. I have been a patient for almost ten years and Dr.Kang is a fantastic doctor most important is he is true to his word.

Dr kang and dr sharma are awesome! They will explain everything and not run out of the room quickly like most other Drs do. They are kind and really nice!

Excellent staff. I don't have anything personal against Dr. Kang, just professionally because he couldn't help me as much as he tried. My ratings reflect my experience, which may not be the same as your experience. In the end, nice place overall, however not helpful for my pain.

I have been a patient since 2011. He is very compassionate and listens. I would never use anyone else.

Dr. Kang always listens to your complains and asks questions if your pain is changing. He also asks if anything new could be having and effect in your pain. He provides shots whenever your pain is getting worse. He gives all options for you to try. And much of it can be done at the same facility. The staff is very friendly and accommodating

Dr. Kang took his time to Thoroughly explain the MRI images and show me Where all the problems are coming from and why. Something that I was never told or showed before, it made so much sense of everything. Dr. Kang is very Passionate, of he does and I know I am in good hands now. Thank You

If every doctor cared as Dr. Kang does I know there would be far fewer of us in need of help. You know when you describe your situation and you can tell the doctor didn’t really pay attention to the details? Dr. Kang pays attention to the details. He goes outside of what’s required to help patients. Think of the most caring and sincere doctor you know, Dr. Kang is that doctor. And if you don’t know one yet, now is your opportunity. If you’re wondering if its worth an appointment with him, it is.

I'm a happy patient of Dr. Kangs for 5 yrs. After struggling w/ cervical herniated discs in my 40s, he brought me relief I didn't get from anything else, even meds. Now in my 50s w/ lumbar stenosis and herniated discs, he's again been a savior to me. I brought my dad, who is in his 70s, to Dr. Kang and he's like a new man. Don't be scared by "needles in your back", so much more scientific than that! He sees exactly where he's going on the X-ray screen, and this is his Specialty, not side work.

Dr. Kang is one amazing doctor. He relieved me of my pain in my neck with epidural injections. He is also very kind and warm when speaking with you and gives you all the time you require when seeing him. I never felt rushed by him, or brushed off. He is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend seeing him for any pain issues.

I have seen many pain management drs over the years. He is the best I have had. Caring, takes his time with you, explains, great bedside manner, and will give you an honest opinion. I am complicated and he has gone out of his way to be sure all my needs are met. He also takes time to answer portal questions and speak with you by phone. He is very knowledgeable and it shows when you speak with him. Focus is on patient and not just the part he is dealing with. Have recommended him already

Dr Kang is one of the most outstanding doctors that I've ever been to. His expertise in pain management is superior. As a chronic intractable pain patient he has helped me manage my pain and educated me so that I fully understand my condition. When I was referred to him little did I realize the blessing that I had received.

Dr. Kang is the best pain management doctor I've seen, he explains everything to you with patience and in plain English, he has the best bedside manner ever, if you go to his office you will see many rewards on the wall . I would recommend him every day all day.

I have seen Dr. Kang on several occasions for back and shoulder pain and he is always willing to invest the time to listen, share and treat you.

I found Dr. Kang through his blog at njmetropain.com. I was interested in learning more about platelet-rich plasma and stem cells. Thankfully, their staff were able to help me.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kang's since February of 2013. Soon to be 4 years of having the most amazing care under Dr. Kang and his friendly staff. What makes him different from other doctors is that he stays on top of new and changing treatments. Dr. Kang never waivers in trying new treatments to bring relief to his patient's everyday lives. Only people living with disabilities or chronic pain can understand just how important that is. He is not a doctor that gives up on his patients.

Dr. Kang is a kind, gentle, caring person. He listens to you, discusses options in detail and helps you make the right decision. His follow up is excellent. He even calls you at home t see how you are. Unbelievable for today!!!! He's great.
