I've been seeing Dr. Looney for a number of years now and he is treating my SLE (Lupus). He is patient, listens to my concerns and reviews my blood work with me at each visit.

He diagnosed my fibromyalgia

Arrogant, rude. Find another provider. Dr Looney was rude and dismissive, unprofessional and he should reconsider why he is in medicine, he is not in it for the patients. Please seek care elsewhere. You will regret seeing this physician. Please please seek care elsewhere!!

I would not recommend Dr. Richard Looney. He was smug and rude. I am baffled at how this physician is still in practice. He did not listen and He made me feel I was wasting his time. Please look elsewhere for care.

zero stars- I highly recommend finding another physician. He was totally unprofessional. He makes blind accusations and has no facts to back his opinion. When asked to clarify his own statements he gets offensive, he also drew labs and expected me the pt to read them. He failed to show up on a telemed and when I finally was able to get into an appt with him. Instead of apologizing for not showing up on the telemed visit, he rudely asked "what I was doing their". He dismissed my issue and concerns, and told me that I was basically dumped in his lap bc know one knew what was going on with me. I have never been so dismissed and treated so unfairly. He should reconsider why he went into medicine. He should be ashamed at how he treats his patients. I do not recommend this physician to anyone. 45 years of practice maybe it is time for him to retire.

Very pleased with Dr. Looney's care. He looks, listens and investigates. He has even called me directly when I've been having trouble. Not many do that anymore. Would certainly recommend.

He has a passive aggressive attitude that does not translate to patent care. Choose other.

Knowledgeable but did not care about me as a patient and person. He is very arrogant and I would never go back to him or that office.

Dr Looney has been my rheumatologist for over 20 years and has always been personally attentive to my problems. I have severe rheumatoid arthritis and he has been very caring and willing to answer all my questions. I never feel rushed with him and he is very thorough.

Dr. Looney is of the old guard, in that he listens and spends time. But he also considers holistic treatments along with traditional medicine. Smart, attentive, warm and professional.

He is a very good Doctor but the last 5 appts they have scheueld they have canceled they say cause he is very busy he does alot of research but you wold think the office girls would know what days not to scheduale you an appointment its not right when i work hard to find a ride and they keep canceling its not fare to any of us that see him if he doesant have time for us then put us in with someone that can see us Patient Sandra Moroz

Impressed by the amount of time Dr. Looney spent with me and how thorough he is. He has a very kind manner about him and is very approachable if you have questions or concerns. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Looney to others.

In my experience, he is very open to discussion and will LISTEN to what his patients have to say.
