Mark Wiet, MD performed stapedectomy on my right ear and he is far and away the best doctor I have ever met and nothing I can say really does justice to the man: he is extremely intelligent, a compassionate and caring person ,and a truly outstanding doctor. Dr. Weit’s personal relationship with his patients is exceptional. I count myself truly lucky to have found him.

Dr Wiet is an incredible doctor. He took over my care when I moved to Chicago from Boston. He quickly got up to speed on my case and personalized challenges. He was open to talking through options that were outside of the box and truly cared that my quality of life improved. I have had two surgeries with him and both times I trusted him completely. He is a busy guy but I know he will always respond to my messages in MyChart. I cannot recommend him enough.

Very frustrating, to say the least.

5 stars are surely NOT enough for this man - I'm a health care professional and extremely choosy about my health care providers. I travel 30 miles out of my way for his expertise. I needed an extra special 'specialist' for my chronically perforated eardrum and I would recommend Dr. Wiet to anyone! He is very much all business - but with a gentle bedside manner. Although he moves quickly - he doesn't miss a beat - He takes time with you and is patient - he listens to you and responds to your concerns. I've recently had surgery and I have no regrets. If you are looking for a physician that genuinely cares about their work and their patients - you can't go wrong seeing Dr. Wiet - he's the cream of the crop.

I had a very chronic , complex ear situation.I found Dr. Weit, and I would highly recommend him to anyone!! He's so patient, smart, has so much experience, and he really listens. He explained the urgency and seriousness Of my situation and really took his time With me and my husband. My surgery went well, and his office and staff are also top notch! ! I'm grateful and blessed To have such a great Dr.
