Rise J. Stribling

Dr. Stribling is a 'no-nonsense', 'tell-it-like-it-is' kinda doctor. I saw her in 2016, and because of her knowledge and expertise in Liver Disease, she basically saved the life of my liver. She actively communicates with you via MyChart Patient Portal and constantly keeps up with your health status. I drive 230+ miles to see her. I highly recommend Dr. Rise Stribling. Amazing Doctor.

Terrible!!She misdiagnosed my husband and performed the same diagnostic test repeatedly trying to confirm her misdiagnosis. A colleague had to step in and assist provided the correct treatment. She nearly killed my husband with her incompetence

Condescending at first meeting, then self involved thereafter, no promise ever came true. She made up her mind via labs prior to even meeting us. Subsequent labs that mitigated her prejudgment were ignored. No organ granted here after years of jumping through hoops.

Condescending and does not listen. Not very bright for an MD she obviously did not graduate top of her class. The care she provided was substandard.

Very good doctor. I have alot of confidence in her decisions.She takes alot of time explaining.

So impressed we were with the IQ and royal reputation of Stribling & Goss, it seemed a no-brainer to elect them when forced into an organ transplant program in Houston. Sadly it seems we were a red-headed step-child upon the first meeting and even though given loving help and care from most, once black-balled, even proving genetics were at fault didn't lift the black-ball from getting an organ.

I have a friend in Orange, Tx who uses her. When enzymes got high i was referred to a Hepatologist. Im glad i followed my friend advise and went to her

My husband is a liver transplant survivor, during a routine visit for labs, his liver enzymes levels went up. Unfortunately he also has hep c , this may be a contributing factors or it may be a virus per the surgeon who performed the surgery. What I am about to say is based solely on my first encounter with this physician. When she received my husband's test results, her first response was that he was on drugs, not medication but street drugs. She had no bedside manner and her training and professionalism seemed non existent. She was rude the patient and his family (namely me and my daughter). Here is a person who went through major surgery and she didn't give him the benefit of doubt. There was no protocol followed to consult with his primary doctor. She basically accused him of doing street drugs and suggested I go to "my home" and search his room for drugs. I cannot began to express how upset we were, but my husband said not to get upset with her, just pray for her and the truth will prevail in the end.
