Robert Alexander

I came in to see Dr.Alexander, the woman that asked me my name at the window was a nasty B!!!!!!!!!!!!! My Dr. recommended Dr.A. I'll find someone closer

Dr. Alexander is not the most compassionate Dr. He is ok but I guess because of the amount of patients he has to see on the daily he always seems rushed. His office staff are the nastiest women I have ever met and this is in both the Denville and Randolph office. I have been told by one of the Secretaries that Dr. Alexander will refill my prescription for my emergency inhaler when he comes in tomorrow if he feels like it! 2 days I had tried to get a prescription for an emergency inhaler. I have acute asthma and Eosinophillic asthma which he diagnosed with a blood test. He never followed up with me stating I have to come in for an appointment no one in his office called to tell me I had to have an appointment with the Dr. before he will refill my prescription now it's 2 days and no emergency inhaler called in to CVS and when I called I was told by the nasty secretary she will be taking care of it in the afternoon and never did but never bothered to follow up with me to give me the courtesy as a human being with a severe asthma and breathing issue that I have to see the Dr! She continued to yell at me over the phone when I tried to explain to her how unprofessional that is and she yelled and said I am not going to argue with you. And this is not the first time I have been treated like this by his Staff. I am going to look for another Dr. asap!

Dr. Alexander is very thorough in his exams and his explanations of both the issues and resolutions. He doesn't rush the visit and answers questions so that the patient understands all that is being discussed.

"examined" me from across the room. Laughed at my answers to questions and sent me out of the office telling me I was fine. Went to another doctor a few days later and she ordered x-rays that showed issues with my lungs. Rude behavior and uninterested in actually examining patients. I am very disappointed because I would have loved to go back there as the support staff was excellent.

I was set to be disappointed because I could not see the doctor whom I liked and had seen previously in this practice, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Dr. Alexander is sharp, caring, and very professional. I hope he solved my problem, but will follow up with him (or my previous doctor), if I need to. Office is very pleasing and staff courteous.
