Dr. Robert Scott Jolson

Just got the letter you are retiring!! Thank you for all you have done for me! Both shoulders and finding the issue with my c-spine! One of the best doctors I know! Enjoy whatever comes next!

I seen Dr. Jolson for rotator cuff repair, He has been very caring and making sure I understand everything and asks if I have questions or concerns, he even called me personally after my surgery to check on me! Just a wonderful doctor! I will recommend him to anyone needing orthopedic surgery!

Dr. Jolson is a very patient doctor who explains every procedure and asks if you have questions or concerns. I would recommend him to my family or friends!

I did something to my knee when I stood up. Had excruciating pain, no range of motion, and couldn’t bear any weight. ER referred me to ortho for an MRI as X-rays didn’t show anything. I cried in pain all night long and got into Dr Jolson early the next morning. He told me it wasn’t an emergency for me to come in to see him and that I shouldn’t be taking the Norco prescribed by the ER (that barely touched the pain as it was). He refused to do an MRI to rule anything out and completely dismissed the amount of pain I was in. He kept trying to bend my knee even as I was screaming and crying for him to stop. This was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor. Now I’m left with no answers and unable to care for my 2 young children.

Really rude doctor! My mom didn't have an interpreter and so he talked really rude to me and her. Kept saying having an interpreter is the hospitals policy, well I never had an issue at another facility nor his staff bothered asking prior to the appointment.

My mother was referred to him for shoulder pain. His question was “have you considered going to a Chiropractor “? He ordered an x-ray, which was useless. He pretty much didn’t do anything for her. Her pain kept getting worse, so she was desperate enough to go back to him to order physical therapy. After a week and a half, she could not do the exercises and the therapist told her he was positive she had torn her rotator cuffs. Wow, took a therapist to figure that out, not Jolson. Imagine that!

Dr. Jolson was competent, thorough and friendly. I highly recommend him.
