They have a sign on their door that says if the patient needs help with walking or with communication or with a healthcare decision, that they can have someone come in with them. That is a lie. We were greeted at the desk by a very friendly receptionist who gave me paperwork to fill out. We only waited about 10 minutes to see Dr Maughan. He was extremely kind, professional and answered all my questions. They allowed my husband to go in the room with me because I had a decision to make about surgery. DOCTOR MAUGHAN DID MY SURGERY IN 2018 HAD A MILD STROKE, MY CORTIDO ATERY WAS BLOCK. HE ALSO DID OPEN HEART SURGERY ON MY SON CURTIS DE CHABERT. I TRUST GOD AND HIM WITH MY LIFE . THANK GOD FOR A WONDERFUL CARING DOCTOR LIKE HIM.

Dr Maughan is the best Cardiologist, he saved my husband's life. He's a very caring person, I'm so thankful that we went to Cape Fear Valley.
