Why doesn't the staff answer the phones?

Dr. Megna and his staff are thorough and professional. He makes excellent referrals when needed.

Dr. Megna is a wonderful physician,always attentive and through. I feel he is the reason I'm still alive. His staff is great,always return calls. I am beyond pleased with the care I recieve. Thank you Dr Megna and staff

Dr. Arkusinski and his Staff is amazing, they practically saved my life. They helped me through addiction and got me back on track! Now, 3 years later I still think about them daily, they're like family.

Awesome Doctor.

So far, THE BEST physician I have ever had! I have been in twice now to establish myself as a new patient. I am extremely impressed with the staff and especially Dr Megna. I have been followed very closely for over 20 years by a very good physician before moving to Texas. I now know more about what is causing several ongoing health issues then ever before. The testing is extensive and Dr Megna is very proactive about disease treatment and prevention. He is very knowledgeable about diet and supplementation to manage disease risk. He does genetic testing for specific disease markers so I can concentrate on prevention in the areas necessary, whereas before this I was unaware of the predisposition.

The best ......

Dr. Megna is by far, hands down the best doctor we have ever seen. He has saved my husband like at least 4 times. We will go only to see him or Dr Perrin.

Wonderful Experience! Dr. Megna treats the whole patient and is thorough in his approach toward determining your health needs/concerns. I would recommend him to anyone that is wanting a doctor that is proactive and not merely reactive.

I ADORE Dr. Megna. Fabulously qualified. Always up on the latest tests and techniques. He's more than ready to refer you to a specialist if need be. I wish he was still doing regular family medicine instead of the specialized "thing" with heart heart that he's doing now. I miss seeing him. My husband is in his "heart program" and we're well pleased with Dr. Megna. He should be cloned. No problems with staff, either as someone previously mentioned. They are a VERY busy clinic.

He is one of the best doctors out there. Not only does he "really" care about his patients, they all love him. We've known him for 25 years and without him, my husband would not be alive today. He is very well educated and if he doesn't feel like he can help you, he refers you to someone who can. He truly is the best doctor around!

Have been a patent of Dr. Johns for years and now that he is in Ferris I'm so disheartened .that place is awful!!!!! More than a 1 hr wait and that's with an appt. (has happened several times). Front staff not telling the doc he had patients waiting. Today after over an he wait I told them I was leaving then all the sudden they had a room! Dr John said staff just told him he had waiting patients 5min before. I have been mislead previously about cost of this " new blood work panel" they said cost would be 100. After I got the bill from ins it was over 2000!!!!and my copay was 400!! So many times dr has told me staff did not inform him of things. I wish my trusted family doc would get out of that. I was in the lobby and the lady next to me said her husband had gone elsewhere and she would be doing the same. She had also been there over an hour and not till she told them she was leaving did a room open up for her. Drug reps got to walk right in and not one thought to a room full of PAYING PATIENTS WAITING. !! Find somewhere else to seek treatment. That was my last visit there and I would gladly go back to dr john once he is out of that place!! Can’t wait to come back to Dr Perry in March. She’s the BEST doctor I’ve had in TX.

Most in-depth exam ever. I’ve had fatigue issues for 30 years. Dr. Megna is the first doc who has sought the source and not just treating symptoms. Great staff. Very knowledgeable. I’m a patient for life.

I've been taking my three sons to see Dr John since 2014 when I was assigned to an active duty army position in Grand Prairie. I personally see Dr Megna and Dr Perrin; I've never once been disappointed in any of my numerous visits. They accept Tricare Prime Remote which was important to me at the time, and now that I have retired from the army, I continue to use their services. I have come in without appointments and been seen quickly every time. All I had to do was call and ask if I or my boys could be squeezed in. Dr John is outstanding with my boys and always takes an appropriate amount of time to listen to our concerns and the reasons we are there; treatment is always quick, appropriate for the malady, and our questions are always adequately answered. Dr Perrin has helped me with reducing migraines and spinal pain with acupuncture and I'm excited that they now offer trigger point injections and guided steroid injections; I won't have to go through a meat-grinder pain med clinic that practices cure-by-opioids. I've been forced to use different clinics while on active duty but now that I'm retired I can use their clinic where I KNOW that I won't just be handed a bottle of Vicodin or Hydrocodone and sent on my way. Dr Megna offers the most comprehensive heart-health program I've ever experienced. As a Soldier I think the army doctors assume that because we run our hearts are good. Dr Megna's program focuses on prevention (for me, anyway), of conditions I am predisposed to, and I have felt that I am cared for above and beyond in all of my visits and that includes the nurses, the PAs, the dietician, and the desk staff. I've seen how the army does business, and in many cases, our care is world-class, but I chose to, and continue to choose to stay with the Ferris Family Clinic Team, because I know they care, and they treat my own, and my family's conditions with compassion, care, and with an appropriate treatment plan in place that is comparably world-class. For those who may have had to wait an hour, I'd say this: it's worth the wait, especially if you've never had to waste half of a day at sick-call in the military to compare it against. Insurance billing can be complicated and confusing, especially with Tricare, and I've never once had a problem with billing, or with Tricare covering my procedures and visits. Some insurance companies can be a challenge to work with and co-pays can seem costly (and ARE the lower the tier of insurance you may have), but that isn't the Dr's fault, nor the staffs, or even the billing department's. As consumers we should already know our copays and annual deductibles, and not expect our Dr, or those teams to know everything about OUR insurance; that's our own responsibility. I will be taking my retired self and my children to this team of awesome docs and staff, they are close to home, and they are, truly, a home-town family clinic. Dr Megna Has been quite literally a lifesaver for my wife and I. He identified a heat problem on me that a hospital couldn’t, and then found cancer in my wife after TWO hospitals couldn’t. Fortunately she is in remission because he got her in the same day to a highly recommended oncologist. He has been our doctor for over 25 years, and we hope he doesn’t move or retire before us! Unfortunately his part of the practice is closed, but you can see other doctors at Ferris Clinic which he runs.

Dr. Megna has been my doctor for nearly 10 years. It is hard to imagine finding a doctor with such depth of knowledge in Ferris, Texas. I would drive 200 miles to see Dr. Megna. He is the most thorough and knowledgeable doctor that I have ever been to. He takes the time to explain things in a manner I can understand. Most importantly, he does advanced testing that other doctors don't do or even know about. If you want top medical care, go to see Dr. Robert Megna.

I have been a patient of Dr. Megna's for over 5 years now. He is very professional and thorough and has an excellent bed-side manner.

Horrible overall experience! This place is a nightmare!!! Dr Megna is okay but the profound incompetence habitually displayed by his admin staff is too much. Its a chore to make an appointment or get a prescription put in properly. Don't even think about getting a call back. Never happens.
