Dr. Neff took wonderful care of my mother. Attentive, concerned and highly skilled. Insured she received the appropriate care, and followed up with her.

Unfortunately I felt that my injury and knee pain was totally ignored by the office staff who I first saw and then communicated with on MyChart. I was given NSAIDs which hurt my stomach. From then on I had to advocate for my own care. Poor patient follow up.

I had a left hip replacement in January 2021. The smoothest surgery I have ever had. I literally used a walker for only 1 day. No issues since surgery. Dr Neff is always on time. It is easy to schedule and emails are ALWAYS returned. Audrey is great too. If you want a physician who is a nice guy, direct, listens, has a sense of humor and with superior surgical skills - then Dr. Neff is the doctor. I had a left hip replacement in January 2021. I have been going to Dr. Neff for many many years. He has helped me with my knees and in fact he even replace one and my shoulders excellent..

Called the night before the surgery and set us at ease Very good experience

I had a total hip replacement back in September and I couldn't be happier with the result. i walk and play golf now with no pain. Best decision I could have made to go with Dr. Neff.

Dr. Neff helped me when I thought no one could. After being essentially dismissed by another Houston hip revision specialist, I believed nothing more could be done for a vey painful hip that had already gone through a total hip arthroscopy and revision. Dr. Robert Neff is the best orthopedic surgeon ever. I have had multiple orthopedic issues for many years and I have had many orthopedic surgeons. I found Dr. Neff after two failed total right hip replacements and four hip dislocations. He successfully performed a total hip revision and after two years I am doing great. I was walking without any assist devices after two and a half weeks and off of any prescription pain medications. His entire staff are very professional, kind and empathetic. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Neff. God bless all of you.

Dr. Neff is an exceptional surgeon. I was disappointed to learn I needed a total knee replacement, but very pleased to be referred to Dr. Neff. He is a consummate professional with a wonderful demeanor. He has a well-run office with highly professional staff. My knee replacement outcome was the exceptional. I highly recommend him.

Extremely disappointed with the staff and doctor. I went in for hip and back pain, Dr. Neff recommened MRI’s. The hip was fine but back MRI showed several changes. The email (not even a call) I received from Dr. Neff was that my back MRI “showed nothing to be causing my pain and that I could come in to further discuss.” I live in constant pain. I had to get a second opinion because I honestly don’t think he EVER looked at my MRI. If it had not been for my second opinion, I would be still be wondering why i have so much pain since he told me everything was fine. I am now in the care of another doctor who is taking steps to get my back pain taken care of and healed. I would think twice before seeing him. Extremely disappointed with the staff and doctor. Dr. Neff recently performed a total knee replacement, and I am 100% happy with the process. His staff prepared me for the procedure, and they were all very professional. The most amazing part of the process was when Dr. Neff himself called me the night before the surgery just to see how I was doing and to answer any last minute questions or concerns. I was in such shock that a surgeon would take the time to make the personal call, or any doctor for that matter. That alone made me want to shout his praise from the rooftops! Dr. Neff was abrupt and did not do a thorough examination. He was condescending and insulting. He did not listen and was in a hurry to move on. After a few minutes, he left the room to take a phone call. I would never recommend Dr. Neff.

He is the very best doctor I have ever seen.

Complete hip replacement - Dr. Neff is incredible! It is hard to find Surgeons performing an Anterior hip replacement. Dr. Neff is well trained and efficient in the procedure, which means less trauma and no muscles being cut. I was on the walker for a week, cane for another week. walking a mile/day. Painlessly able to go up and down the stairs. No muscle cut so no PT is necessary! I refused epidural or any of the pain meds... just ice packs for the first couple of weeks! Ready 4 hip #2!

Dr.Neff perform two total knee replacements on my knees. One one Year later I am doing great. I have been a firefighter for the City of Houston for 25 years. There’s no other surgeon!

Dr. Neff performed a total hip replacement for me one week ago. I left the hospital the following day without a walker or a cane. I have no restrictions and feel great so far. I walked almost a mile this morning and all is well. I highly recommend Dr. Neff, his assistants and associates, and the Bone and Joint Clinic. I have complete confidence in them and feel truly blessed.

Dr. Neff performed a partial hip replacement surgery when my husband, Ray Boehm, fractured his his left femur. We could not have been more pleased with the outcome. Dr. Neff's attention to detail and communication with other specialists necessary for Ray, including his primary care physician, showed Ray and me that he was very interested in Ray's overall health, as well as rehabilitation from the surgery with the best possible physical therapy. Waited for an hour to be seen by the doctor. While describing my symptoms, the nurse was checking her cell phone. It takes multiple phone calls for the office to return your call. Waited two weeks to get lab results which are available within a couple of days. Not acceptable.

I foundDr. Neff to have a excellent air & bed side matters, which is very important to me, he answered questions & offer his medical opinion, I felt very at ease when hearing his explanation . My first visit & my rating of him is very good & I would recommend him to my family & friends from the one visit .
