he took time and was professional and ordered testing....I was very statisfied

Dr. Ponzio takes time to thoroughly explain the problem and treatments available. He is not a "5 minute in and out" doctor. He did my hip arthroplasty and two years later, no problems. He was recommended by several people at my gym. They were excellent recommendations!

This is an orthopaedic surgeon who really listens to you and spends all the time a patient needs to get their concerns answered

Dr. Ponzio has performed 2 successful surgeries on me. First was a laparoscopic disc-ectomy L4-L5 and the minute I woke up in recovery the pain was gone and has never came back and that was in 2006. Second was a torn maniscus from running. I was relieved of pain immediately and ran just after 2 weeks. He is the only doctor that touches and treats me and my family’s bones and joints! He is very thorough and staff is great! Our 99 yr old Uncle goes to him too. If you don’t go to him it’s your loss

Let me start off it i could give 0 Stars i would Because he is the wrost dr ever. i want to him for my knee for worker comp and he told me theres nothing wrong with my knee and after 8 months fighting with worker comp drs then Finally going to a good dr at Rothman dr to find out i have mpfl tear and Lateral meniscus tear. Thank you Dr.robert ponzio i dont know how you can sleep with lying to people like be a real dr and take care of people.

Dr. Ponzio may be an good surgeon, but his communication condescending and rude. I met with him to discuss options for a torn meniscus (I'm fairly active and under 60 years old.) When I told him my goal was to go back to doing the things I enjoy without discomfort, his response was "You aren't getting any younger and you should probably find some new interests." I left his office and did not go back because that is not the attitude that I wanted managing my care.

I made an appointment with Dr. Ponzio, then after an extremely long wait in the room someone came in to take my history, which I had just filled out in the waiting room. He told me that Damian would be in, I asked who that was and was told it was the nurse practitioner. Another long wait. He finally came in, went over my history again, and came up with a diagnosis. I refused an injection with him and Dr. Ponzio came in after another long wait. I was given a completely different diagnosis.

I would not recommend this office. His nurse actually called me a liar about the pain I was experiencing. Had me in tears. I then went to rothman. Got a partial knee replacement there. Totally satisfied with rothman!!!! I also found dr ponzio pompous
