Absolutely amazing Doctor and staff!!!

My family dentist referred me to Dr. Robert Ramirez for extraction of an upper molar. I was able to get a prompt appointment with Dr. Ramirez for an exam and we scheduled a date and time for the following week for the extraction. Subsequently, at the following appointment, the extraction was done with absolutely no pain or discomfort. I was surprised at how quickly he was able to do the procedure. I had no complications and am now recovering very well. I have one last follow up appointment this week and I should be released. I have been extremely impressed with the doctor and his entire staff. My waiting times never were more than 1-5 minutes and everyone was professional and courteous. I will go back to Dr. Ramirez if I have any further periodontal needs and I highly recommend him to anyone else needing the services of an excellent periodontist. I visited Dr. Ramirez today for the first time. I have severe dental anxiety and was very nervous about going. I originally went to another periodontal dentist for a gum graft procedure. It did not have the desired results(to put it mildly), so I came to Dr Ramirez for the second opinion - and ended up redoing one of the grafts with him. Dr Bob not only did an excellent job, but I didn't have as much swelling or pain as the first time. OK, I hate going to dentists. It’s something about those drills and needles, etc, that make me want to run away. Dr Ramirez fully understands, and creates a welcoming atmosphere the moment you walk in the door. Every question is answered completely, every concern is treated with the utmost care. The exam rooms are squeaky clean, and Sam (who is simply wonderful!) will make sure you are comfortable and will fully explain everything you need to do post-op. Dr. Ramirez and his staff are amazing. I needed a tooth extracted and was referred to Dr. Ramirez by my current dentist. The experience was virtually pain free. I would recommend Dr. Ramirez in a heartbeat. If I ever need to find a new dentist, I will definitely be calling Dr. Ramirez.

(Copied from review on Dr's web site): I visited Dr. Ramirez to get a second opinion after seeing another highly rated periodontist recommended by my dentist. However, the other periodontist caused a near heart attack with his quote, and also provided information that proved to be less than fully accurate when I researched information I was presented in that visit. That information included studies available on-line, first hand experience from a relative, and information relayed from the periodontist of said relative. With more information in hand, I saw Dr. Ramirez. His recession measurements were similar to my first periodontist, but the analysis and suggested approach was much more reasonable. Also, all information he shared with me matched the information I had discovered prior to my visit to his office, setting a level of trust much higher than the other periodontist (who I feel directly misled me). I was referred to Dr. Ramirez from a friend and coworker who had only good things to say. Also, the office support staff were extremely cordial and polite. So much nicer at the office of Dr. Ramirez, than the other office. Addendum - I have now had two gum surgeries with Dr. Ramirez. After two of these experiences, I can say without a doubt that his staff is excellent, his work has proven to be excellent, they see you when you are scheduled to be seen, and they make the experience the absolute best it can be. Dr. Robert Ramirez is an amazing doctor! He always listens to what you say thoroughly. His whole staff is extremely polite and kind. His office is super clean and quiet. I can't find words to express my appreciation to Dr. Ramirez and his wonderful staff. Ms. Mara cleans my teeth and she not only cleans, but also checks my gums, tongue etc. She does full exam to make sure everything is alright with my mouth. I was referred to Dr. Ramirez by my dentist for periodontal examination and subsequent treatment. I have since had a gingival graft. The procedure involved no discomfort whatsoever and took very little time. I am most impressed with the entire staff. I would highly recommend them.

I was seen promptly after my arrival. I had no sense of "get the patient in and get them out" . Dr. Ramirez, Mary and Sam spent the time appropriate to my dental needs. The three of them were most pleasant and I felt listened to and respected. Sam should conduct seminars for dental employees about best practices for making dental x-rays -- wow! I have a very small mouth and have always come out of an x-ray session with abrasions inside my mouth. No such problem this time. Sam's special technique. Although I have never experienced any significant or unexpected discomfort during the procedures, I was always encouraged to indicate any discomfort I might be experiencing. He and his entire office staff are especially kind and efficient. Let's just say that having one of my front teeth pulled out because it's quality of life was poor wasn't exactly a party, however, had it not been for Dr. Ramirez and his amazing staff, it would have been a billion times worse. Brilliant surgeon, great follow up care, discussion and input on all of my options and a gorgeous papilla (now I know what that is) to boot.
