Rude office, and refused to help. Would not recommend!

I do not recommend this practice if you want a doctor who listens to you. I went through the ringer for months because of his "assumptions" instead of an actual tested diagnosis. Even if I could give zero stars, I wouldn't. I would still give one star because he took me off of a thyroid medication that was causing me extreme anxiety because I didn't need to be on it at all. Also, he did put me on a blood pressure medication for hypertension because of the initial misdiagnosis. At my appointment, he disregarded almost everything that I was telling him about the issues I had been having. Come to find out there was much more to be uncovered. He told me I needed to lose weight, that I probably had a fatty liver, and sleep apnea. He told me to eat a low fat diet. That was it. no further testing. nothing. Thank God I got a second opinion from a doctor who actually cared what I had to say and LISTENED to how I was feeling. I was FINALLY diagnosed with metabolic syndrome. My vitamin D, iron, and b12 were all EXTREMELY low. Also, the cause of my high blood pressure, weight gain, and overall fatigue. I do not have sleep apnea, I do not have a fatty liver. My new doctor checked on both of these because of his comments. Nothing. He just needed to listen and do simple blood tests to figure out what was going on. Instead, he decided I was overweight so it was my own problem. I am down 20 pounds, thriving, and feel great. No thanks to this quack. DO NOT RECOMMEND. You are your own best advocate. Fight for yourself, because doctors like this don't have your best interest at heart.

Been a patient here for over 40 years and i think Dr Roach has this place at the best it can be... to bad that everyone wants in so i dont get the same week appointment.. But he still is there for me... Thank you. You are the best

I found him online and attempted to call to make an appt and was in put on hold for about 20 mins. As anyone else would, I got tired of waiting so I hang up and call again only to be put back on hold AGAIN for another 20 mins. I had a simple few questions and they couldn't even help me. I gave 1 star ⭐ because I HAD to. I wouldn't try this Drs office again if my life depended on it. What's going on with your staff?!! Maybe it's time to find someone(s) who cares about your business. What's going on with this office? Many of my family members and co-workers love Dr. Roach. But lately we can't get appts. For more than a month whoever answers is telling people "we're on a new system and can't make appts right now". You call back and get "we are on a new system and can't see you until... [2-3 weeks later]". One family member has called 3 TIMES and was told "we'll call you back when the system is back up", and she NEVER gets a return call. Makes me wonder if even Dr. Roach knows what's going on, because his office has NEVER ran like this. What's going on with this office? Many of my family members and co-workers love Dr. Roach. Dr Roach is thorough and explains everything in a way anyone can understand. He is patient and very considerate. He is the only doctor I trust with my health.

The office staff is courteous and efficient. The premises are very well maintained and clean. This office offers blood work done on premises. There is minimal wait time once arriving for your appointment before you get to see Dr. Roach. Yes, you actually get to see the Doctor not a Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Roach has a wonderful demeanor and takes the time to thoroughly explain your treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Roach, his staff and this facility if your looking for a great hometown medical provider!

The receptionist is very rude and this morning 7/6/2020 I called and was put on hold for almost 10 minutes before they even asked for my name or what I was calling about then I was placed on hold again. I’m calling to make an appt but have been getting the busy / disconnect signal so I cannot even leave a message. Not sure how else to contact the office since only one number available.

Great doctor . Good at getting a appointment in a timely manner. No long wait times. Now, I made this previous review awhile back and dont get me wrong I love the Dr. However here is my situation at present. Calls office to get appointment. Receptionist sure we can get a appointment Friday ok cool . I call back Wednesday I cant keep appointment my husband can not get off work. Receptionist mad well I will just right declined saying things like health is more important than a job. Well if my husband dont keep his job how are we gonna pay for said appointment. I completely agree health is important however so is supporting a family. I honestly was shocked by how I was treated. I am not going to say I was not getting upset on the phone cause I was but. My friend that I referred to Dr. Roach a few years ago was finally pleased that she had a chance to actually see Dr. Roach for the first time in several visits. Most doctors and dentist tend to pass patients on to the FNP or other dentist that come aboard with no explanation why. As a patient a suggestions is always reflect when doing patient care why is a patient with us or staying with us don't lose sight that all patients appointments are important to them.???? Dr Roach and his staff is amazing, they all are caring and they listen and right there by your side. I would refer Dr. Roach to my friends and family.

Great Dr, took care of my Brother Mike for years even when he lost his insurance, he was very caring and gave him the care he needed. I only wish his practice was near my home.

This was my first visit to see Dr. Roach. He listened well and was willing to give me the referrals I needed for specialists. He asked the right questions which showed me he had at least some understanding of my rare disease. The staff was courteous, which is very important to me as well.

Great office, I have been going there since I was a kid.

Ashley Guest NP is just amazing! She is just so involved and concerned about you it's heartwarming.

Love love this office. If Dr Roach is unavailable. I get to see his PA Ashley, and she is absolutely amazing! She has amazing bedside manner, and always puts me at ease on whatever the situation may be. Always able to see her the same day I call. The staff as a whole is absolutely awesome. I had root canal done with Dr. Roach. Did not feel pain or discomfort. Compare to the filling I had with my dentist this was very pleasant experience. Dr. Roach took the time to explain all my options. He and his staff were very professional and caring.

Takes time to explain your health problems and answers questions thoroughly. In the mists of fighting cancer, I feel that Dr. Roach is right there to support me through this journey. He is professional in his treatment and respects your wishes if they differ from his. I would recommend Dr. Roach as a no nonsense medical doctor.

This place is a joke. Everytime I need to go to the Dr I call in to work and try to make an appointment asap. And every time they always immidiately say they are booked up. I pay over 750 a month for my family to have health insurance and every time I need to go they can't take me so every time I end up at urgent Care paying a higher co pay. Ridiculous. Family and preventive medicine is a joke place my wife went in for a check up with the nurse practitioner named Charlotte not even a doctor. My wife is a diabetic we have been to this office many times in the past. Charlotte give my wife metformin for her diabetes as normal. She wonted to do about 6 different test for lab. Told her we were short on money at this time no insurance. So we went with just the 2 labs work and went home. I called in to ask Charlotte about some pain pills for my wife's leg and hand pain. Charlotte said we should have to come back in for another check up. I asked her could she give my wife some pain med so she finally said yes after arguing my wife was in pain. About two weeks we got a certified letter from Charlotte about she can't see us anymore at this office. Now she won't even receive my calls to find out what happened. One sorry place to receive care they charge to much even if you are returning customer. Dr Roach needs to find some decent help. Looking for a good doctors office. Screwed customer. been to this doctor many years.Some days I get a little frustrated but overall he has helped me maintain the best health I can.i appreciate his honesty if I need a specialist. I have a chronic condition so I’m sure it’s unpleasant to deal with for both of us.He has patience and figured out some problems no one else did.almost lost my job and he worked with me so I was able to reduce my hours. I don’t like the referrals but I get my own anyway.needs more digital(web,text or email)communication.

This practice is ridiculous. Their billing practices for procedures are erroneous and when you try to get them to correct, their office manager is never in and her mailbox is full. You go in and you still can't get anything resolved. Go somewhere else if you can.
