Dr. Robert Mark Schneider

Absolutely horrible. Canceled appointments at the last minute then says they'll do a telephone call but no one does. Impossible to get through to offices. Do not recommend!

First visit

Dr Schneider, his assistant Alithia Maurer, and the nurses are great. But the receptionist or receptionistS do not call people back in a timely manner. Has nothing to do with COVID, this has been happening.

I called the office in Tannersville and they suggested I go to Catskill urgent care which was wonderful the staff was excellent I saw Ally she was very very good and she was able to solve my problem and give me a prescription it was great now I have a place to go like a general practitioner Excellent

I was experience some fluid in my ear so the doctor recommended for I I needed to see someone right away so Serena suggested I go to urgent care in Catskill I’m glad I went there I live in Jewett The staff was wonderful and Ally the PA who saw me was able to figure out exactly what was wrong and gave me a prescription they are now my general practitioner wonderful

I had scheduled a physical appointment a few weeks ago, the paperwork for the blood work just arrived 2 business days before my physical and now needs to be rescheduled due to their unorganized office staff. Nothing to complain about

Dr Schneider is great but his office staff in Cairo NY is awful. Rude pushy always telling you to go to urgent care instead of getting them in the office. There is one lady particular I believe her name is Cara at least that is what I got out of her. Just plain Rude doesn’t let you finish what you are saying. She says no before you can even finish what you are saying and today she told me they don’t have email which is just her being lazy. Who doesn’t have email?

Dr Schneider is fine--I'd imagine he doesn't know what the new front office people are saying to his patients; I would recommend avoiding the Tannersville office. The front office is not what it once was. Go to Cairo or another of his offices.

For the most part, staff was very pleasant. Though I would personally recommend requesting Rob Schneider, the other physician doesn’t ever seem too concerned.

A near seamless combination of professional and empathic healthcare administered in a timely and courteous manner. It's a blessing to have a medical facility of this caliber in our community.

Can’t get test results after a week. Left 6 messages and no one calls back. So disorganized and uncaring. Switching doctors.

Most of the staff are pleasant to deal with however the running of the office is subpar. I am new to this practice and myself and my child have had at least 4 visits between ourselves. Each appointment we are early or on time for yet we wait close to 30 -40 minutes before we are brought in by the nurse who takes the usual - weight/blood pressure. It doesn't seem to matter what time of day our appointments are either as we have had both mornings (8AM) and afternoons (3PM). Then we wait another 10-15 minutes before the doctor comes in. Now the most recent is mind boggling. At the annual last year my child was told they needed a NYS required vaccine for 12th grade yet they couldn't give it on that visit because they did not have it in stock. Now this year at the next annual they did not mention the required vaccine. Since my child went to this appointment alone they did not bring it up either because they were unaware and I forgot to remind them. So I called to ask about the vaccine and again they do not have it in stock and do not see them having it in stock in the near future. I was told that yes they realize it is required in order for a child to attend school and to call the Dept. of Health. He is a wonderful doctor. He takes his time and listens to his patients . He explains everything to them. He took excellent care of my Mom who passed away and no he has been looking after me. He is a very kind doctor. He is one of the best doctors that I have ever had.
