Dr. Robert Douglas Wills

On two different occasions, I saw Dr. Wills for shoulder pain and knee pain. On both occasions, he administered cortisone shots, skillfully and painlessly. My shoulder healed soon afterwards. Today (3/8/2023), being in much pain in my knees, I showed up at his office without an appointment, and his kind and compassionate office staff (Courtney, Brittney, Kate, and Meagan) arranged for me to see Dr. Wills immediately. Dr. Wills took x-rays, diagnosed my knee problem and gave me a cortisone shot. I was so thankful for the immediate relief and the kindness, compassion and competence of all. I would highly recommend this office for any and all orthopedic issues.

Always please with the service. Answers all my questions and explains procedures thoroughly. I have recommended him to my friends.

Dr Wills is the most compassionate caring surgeon and takes the time to explain everything to you and answers all your questions. When you see Dr Wills he treats you as if he treats his own family members and that’s so refreshing. He’s very knowledgeable and has a awesome bedside manner. I highly highly recommend Dr Wills to everyone. If you want a surgeon that’s very knowledgeable then Dr Wills is the Orthopedic Surgeon for you. He states facts and never beats around the bush. I give him 10 stars.

Dr. Wills is compassionate, understanding, kind & honest. I am always pleased with my visits with him. He takes the time to listen to my questions & provide answers. My surgery that he did on my knee went very well & the healing process has been going pretty good with very little pain. I highly recommend him! His staff are also kind & very helpful! My experience with his office has been nothing but positive. The only thing is, he does have a tendency to run behind...but what doctor doesn’t?

I was told about Dr Wills by a friend. I had my second appointment with him December 15th. We discussed shoulder surgery for January. Looking for a better quality of life.

I have seen Dr. Wills over the years for several orthopedic issues. He listens to my concerns and takes every step to resolve the problem. I love that he doesn't jump straight into suggesting surgery but tries invasive solutions first.

Recovery from the knee surgery is ongoing. Only a week post-op. Pleased with results so far.

Received cortisone injections. Dr. Wills explained the procedure and made me feel comfortable.

Dr. Wills was referred by Dr. Jeff Wilson when he retired. He is excellent...explains my conditon and options clearly

I went to see him because of bilateral knee pain and L arm pain. He got xrays, examined me, reviewed xrays with me and injected my knees to help ease the pain. He explained the degenerative process that was happening and the likelihood of needing knee surgery in the future. He instructed me on exercises for the tendonitis in my arm. He listened to what I said and gave me answers that were clear and understandable.

Follow up from previous visit. Dr. Wills explained MRI and what needed to be done. Best option was reverse shoulder replacement. He recommended who to see and his nurse set the appointment.

Dr. Wills explained my hip and shoulder x-rays in great detail. He gave me two cordisone shots in a gentle manner. His compassion and time with my pain concerns was a true blessing! God certainly knew where Dr. Wills belonged in this world!

He did a great job with left knee replacement in 2010 and was thorough in trying to help right knee. While cortisone shots aren’t painless, he does a good job giving the shot! He is very personable.

My visit was very good. Dr. Wills is very thorough and to the point on the problem. He answers question and spend time with patients.

I searched many Ortho doctors to operate on my arthritic knee and choose Dr Wills! I'm 76 and love the time he spends with me explaining things. I'm only 1 week post surgery, but all looks and feels great! The staff are pleasant too, which is hard to find lately!! I would highly recommend Dr Wills!!

My experience with Dr. Wills was nothing short of exceptional! Caring, intelligent and knowledgeable. Bedside mannerism was professional. He took the time to listen to my concerns, fully explained my diagnosis, reviewed my x-ray images with me at bedside, went over all of my treatment options and answered all of my questions. I am happy because I was treated as more than just a patient. He is one of the few doctors that treated me and not just the problem.

Have had Dr. Wills perform bilateral replacement of hip & one knee replacement. He listens to the patient & is extremely professional & through. His follow up is good as well. Staff is wonderful. I have been very happy with outcome & care.

Answered questions. Left knee pain almost immobilized me. Dr. Will administered cortisone shot that has begun it's work after one day. Truly a relief and a blessing to have this pain relief.

Doctor Wills is simply awesome. Through a fractured leg then months later a broken arm that looked like a bowl of cereal, he's been top-notch. I was impressed when Dr. Wills mentioned the Orthofix bone stimulator for my leg because I had never heard of it. Then I was doubly impressed when he had to put a plate and screws in my arm and I could hardly tell where the scaring to my half sleeve tattoos was at. I recommend Dr. Wills to everybody.

Dr. Wills really takes the time to hear you out. He doesn't jump immediately to surgery. I highly recommend him.

Best doctor I've ever been to

I went to see Dr Wills about a recurring pain that I had while sitting, especially when driving on my right hip/leg. I've had the pain for years and tried PT and steroid shots with no success. A recent MRI indicated that I had a torn hamstring where it connects to my pelvic bone. Dr Wills performed the surgery to reattach the torn the hamstring. I am recovering very well with no complications. I highly recommend Dr Wills for any orthopedic need.

I went in with high hopes that Dr. Wills would help me or point me in the right direction for pain I am having. I ended up hearing two speeches from him about how he didn't make enough money to do one procedure and the other was how his practice would fine him $10k if he went forward with another procedure I would benefit from. When I asked him where that leaves the patient aka me, he replied "it is what it is". He clearly did not care for me as a patient and only interested in money.

This man is the best. He listens, shows what he finds from various tests, explains at a level so that you know exactly whats wrong and is very thorough about the treatments. He is honest and personable, you can be in so much pain but you will leave his office with a smile! I have been to several dr's with now true answers to my issues and he was and still is determined to get to the bottom of it. Wonderful Doctor!
