I found that Dr Spears really does care, he listens, he will tell you can try things for head aches that may or may not work. If you ask about something can we try he will let you know if you can do it or not. I use to have a Doctor you couldn’t talk to him nor would her listen. He keep saying the fall you took you should of died. That is really nice to hear from your Doctor almost every time you go into the office. Then he wouldn’t believe me when I would tell him problems I was having , I didn’t even want to go to the Doctor. Than I meant Dr Spears he listened to me checked me over and confirmed what I was saying. What a Doctor, I drive from Middletown Delaware to see Dr Spears with no problem. Excellent bedside manner. Attentive, observant, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. One of the best doctors I’ve ever met.

After a head injury Dr Spears took care of me at Cleveland Clinic. Professional and highly competent he helped me return to a normal life. Very good Dr.

Dr. Spears was very thorough during my initial visit and evaluation. He asked questions that had not bee asked by any other neurologist. I was extremely impressed with his professionalism and thoughtfulness.

Excellent bedside manner. I left my first visit feeling truly heard and confident in my recovery. I’ve been to many doctors in recent months for an injury I sustained in February. Dr. Spears was kind, attentive, informative, compassionate ad knowledgeable. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a quality neurologist! Keep up the great work, Dr. Spears!

My daughter has been under his care for 3 months and I've been very impressed with his knowledge, attentiveness and genuine empathy towards my daughter and her very concerned parents. We're not there yet , but believe our partnership with Dr Spears will soon result in a positive outcome for my daughter. We never got there under the care if Dr Spears and prescription meds had many negative side effects. Much improved since going acupuncture route, over the counter meds, homeopathic med and natural supplements. Dr. Spears is truly a expert in his field. He also has the best bedside manner I have ever seen. I was sent to him after seeing my local neurologist who was unsuccessful with treating the type of migraines that I was experiencing. I stayed in the hospital all the time. I was weak and could barely walk, talk, or even concentrate. I experienced stroke like symptoms all the time. Once I was sent to Dr. Spears he was able to diagnose and treat me for Hemiplegic Migraine. I rarely go to the hospital now and I am on the best treatment plan specific to me. I followed Dr. Spears from his previous location to Penn and although I live in DE, I would follow him anywhere. He saved my life. Dr. Spears is the very best. I never feel rushed at office visits, he listens, asks questions and I believe he really cares. I feel so thankful to have him as my doctor.

Good listener, his diagnostic and planning for living with migraine has allowed me to have a quite normal life. I see him once a year since my migraines attacks change from time to time. I recommend him wholeheartedly.

Dr. Spears is awesome. I was in a bad accident , suffer from disc problems, severe migraines, he makes life very manageable. Thank you Dr. Spears and Thank You Kita !

He treated my migraines quickly and efficiently. When I went to see him, I was unable to work due to debilitating migraine headaches. He put me on the right medication and within 6 weeks (or less) I was able to start functioning again and able to work. Also, he noted a thyroid condition that may have contributed to my headaches and quickly referred me to his colleague for treatment. I am grateful to Dr. Spears for his professionalism and genuine concern for my health and welfare. Highly recommended. He treated my migraines quickly and efficiently. Dr. Spears is a wonderful doctor. He is a good listener and genuinely wants to help you. He doesn't rush you out of his office. He is attentive and willing to try a variety of treatments to help you find relief. He is truly a gem in the world of medicine.

Dr spears seemed very nice and smart. The office staff I had faith in dropped the ball several times. Still no appt for my Botox. 2 months I still can't get a return call. NOT OK.

This review comes from a retired Physician.Dr. Spear is one of the finest doctors that I have ever met.He listened very carefully to my complaints and symptoms, reviewed my MRI and did a comprehensive neurologic exam. Then he came up with a diagnosis and treatment plan for my problem which had eluded 2 other neurologists.He is the best and I would not hesitate to refer some one else to him.
