Rodney D. Franklin

My daughter in law saw Dr Franklin at Roxborough Memorial Hospital last night. She came in with sudden sharp abdominal pain, he ordered no tests, sent her home with narcotics. 6 hours later she had emergency surgery at St Mary’s on a very large mass.

I’m not surprised we have an opioid crisis in our country with clinicians like Dr Franklin. My daughter in law saw him for a sudden acute stomach pain at Roxborough memorial ER. Instead of offering tests to try to diagnosis the problem he gave her a prescription for a narcotic to mask the problem with direction to go home and sleep. Fortunately my son took her to St Mary’s hospital and 6 hours after “Dr” and I use that term lightly, Franklin saw her she needed emergency surgery to remove a large mass in her abdomen. Had he done his job properly instead of giving them an attitude she could have had surgery 6 hours sooner and not have the fear that she may not have children.

I love Dr.Franklin. I would recommend him to anyone. The staff knows me by name when I go in, and if there is a problem he calls me personally.
