I had a horrible experience with this guy when he took over Dr Philip Olkin's practice when he retired. had a total of 2 office visits with him and one with the office staff as I had to change an appt due to car trouble, &The only day to change to was friday.He isn't in on friday.I was told they wanted to randomly drug test me, a iinconvenience (I had just urinated) I changed a couple hours drank water and waited till I could go, I didn't mind, I was very embarrassed tho making everyone wait. I felt a bit like a criminal with just how closely the staff watched me when I went outside to let my dogs out of my hot car and smoke a butt.Dogs did their biz & we talked. When they were done I put em back in the car n put the windows down,gave em some water & went back into the office.The woman even checked my purse coming and going. I drank water till I could pee again.when ready, I was given a cup & I went into the can n filled it.The woman waited outside the door till I hand her the cup and go back to the room to wait for the test to be over.They came in and told me it was negative,no surprise to me.But right away I could tell they were.I was really glad they watched me like a hawk. seemed like they were lookin for any excuse was given a few of my meds to get thru the weekend,I was to return Monday when the dr.would write the rest of my prescriptions.Even tho this was very hard for me,I returned Monday. Upon my return I met with Dr. Swenson. Already I could hear him listing all the problems he had with my drug test.Life couldn't get any harder(I had some very hard changes in my life recently, I had a very ugly breakup after 15 years.I arrived home from the bay where my grandmother had died in my arms after a 10 year long battle with dementia. I took care of her 5 days a week, 24 hours a day, for the last year, the last 6 months she was bed ridden and on hospice. Usually I went home to my house in Humboldt on the weekends, but I stayed for a few weeks to plan a large Irish Catholic Mass and Wake. After which I made my way home and walked in the door and a woman I never knew existed was there and she was drunk. she beat me up & I was humiliated when I went to my appointment with now Dr Swenson's office staff and found that most of the girls knew about it. Before I did! I was so embarrassed by all of it! he wouldnt give me my belongings. I only realized after weeks of him toying with me. As a result I was living in my car while I handled all I could to move to the bay. finally he let me have some of my stuff & I put it in a so-called friends storage and basically she robbed me for what was left. So what I thought was going to be a routine medication check turned into this Dr. poking at me, to what end I have no idea, but he accused me of lying when he accused me of doing illicit drugs, (the fact that I had taken a random drug test two days before proving I hadn't, didn't matter, to him and he said I had an incident in which I had gone to the hospital recently with an overdose I told him he was wrong it was 8 months prior and had nothing to do with illicit drugs, He called me a liar and I told him it was easy to check but he would NOT check it. I started to feel like the fact that I had passed the test just made him treat me worse.l was shocked when he wanted to test me again and I having just used the head started getting miffed. I said this is crazy.what are you gonna do?keep testing me till it comes out the way you want? He was cold when he held the door open sayin I could get a new Dr. & I said I didn't want to make my life harder.He lied again saying I refused a test! I told him I never refused a test.By now tho I realized he would say and lie about everything having to do with me.I had no idea why but he didn't like me. And between me and him,people would believe him.It was right before shelter in place, I couldn't get a new Dr.he knew it& cut me off my meds cold turkey. some I had taken for 20 years. Hormone ,inhaler & antid

Treats female patients as though they should stand and salute as they would in the army. I was in the hospital across the street from him and, in 9 days, he NEVER came to see me. Have a new doctor now.

You left me with heart attack and stroke symptoms for over 2 1/2 years. I had an emergency open chest 4 way heart bypass within days of seeing another doctor.
